I went with my 10 year old son. For me and him I paid 150 kronor. The place was build in 90ties so by now it is in a sad state. Palms are so tired -they forgot they were once suppose to pretend to look real...Just poor pool but not cheap:) If any American would make it to Gavle pls remember all the old ladies shower together and yes the" are naked. There is a relax zone but it costs additional 170kronor! Kid had fun because that what kids do when in water but for me 4h was long..there are no comfy chairs to lay down. Better take a walk around. And, and you need your own lock to close locker!!!you can buy 35kronor!:):)…

Cost a lot compared to other "adventure" baths and not that much to do there. One outside pool connected to the bath that is accessable even during winter. Lots of room outside for sunbathing.

Fjarran Hojderbadet is a large public swimming pool. In summer you have the choice of the following outdoor pools, a large pool to just swim or to do laps, a large childs pool (waist height for children), a toddlers pool, volleyball, soccer, play area and plenty of grass to lie on. You can bring your own chairs, rugs, food and drink or buy your refreshments from the well stocked kiosk. The indoor section is open in both winter and summer it has a wonderful child/toddler pool and play area. A family area which includes jacuzzi s, whirlpool and a split indoor outdoor pool. There is also a large indoor lap pool which has diving boards. Ample lockers for everyone, if you don't have a lock you can get one for a small fee at reception. Saunas are in every changing room or you can use the communal one inside the pool area. For a daily fee you can go upstairs for a jacuzzi, sauna and a few hours of relaxation. In summer this place is a great picnic destination with the family definitely an all day event. In winter it is a wonderful place to relax or to let the kids get rid of some extra energy. Well worth the visit all year round.…
