This is an interesting and slightly bizarre art experience. Be sure to get the map from the tourist info downtown first. The sculptures are spread out around buildings and in the trees and although you can stumble upon many, they are also easy to miss....More

This area, filled with art is one of the best places to go in Umeå. There is something for everybody, regardless of your knowledge and interest in art, Children love it, and you can come back over and over again.

In the wooded grounds of the former hospital, the 50 or so sculptures are worth the walk. We visited on a hot day in May, and spent an enjoyable couple of hours strolling in the shade of the trees.

Well, it's a sculpture park, so outdoors, and some sculptures will be different in winter. They are spread out in the area of the old mental hospital, now school and old people's home. A map helps but just walking about one would still find most...More
