It's on the other side of Lulea airport, at the entrance of the military air base, a bit uncomfortable to reach it by public transports, getting off the bus at the closest stop it made me to have a 5km long walk anyhow (the landscape is beautiful and there is a walking path), but it's worth visit, I've been welcomed in by a former Swedish air force pilot who guided me through the aircrafts and the stuff explaining me everything, very nice

This is a nice place for those that like military, and specially air force, stuff. The museum contains airplanes from the 1950 until 2000, a S37 Viggen simulator (very fun!), and communications equipment and other interesting things. Cheep to enter and knowledgeable staff, as they are the ones operated the aircrafts ones upon a time.

Very complete museum, run by aviation enthusiasts. Particularly nice, if you enjoy this subject, as well.

I was a bit disappointed. How can a museum in northern Sweden close because of cold weather ???
At least they could have mentioned this on the webpage, so we did not loose vacation time here.

very nice little museum, a little bit small, but what a good one. if you wanna see some rares and interesting planes that you wouldn't found outside sweden , i recommend it.
it dont looks very interestingg from the outside (except the planes outside), but inside you'll be surprised.
minus point there's no real shop and no english.
staff very friendly.
go and visit it , you won't regret

Nice and very interesting museum about the F21 Norbotten Wing containing a lot of unusual object typically for (sub) arctic operations.

It is a really small and decent museum worth visiting if you love airplanes. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise, although I must admit the people working there have put a great lot of effort into it. I especially liked the simulator that they have set up, which unfortunately was undergoing maintenace during my visit.

Nice militar museum in Lulea. The museum is not so big but it has really interesting historical pieces as well as a 6 or 7 war planes and a helicopter. There is also a flight simulator that seem really fun. The staff was really nice as they took the time to show me around in english.

Sweden buildt it's peace and freedom upon sovereign defense and military. That meant that the fighter planes were all Swedish, and constructed to function at best in Sweden. The exhibition shows the air force as it was during the cold war. Go there - learn, and take part of the strategy for a neutral country with determination and will power to keep it's borders.
