I had the best time meeting Hannah and her beautiful and sweet dogs :D
I did a few hour tour where I got to drive my own dog sled, which I never thought I would be able to do! But they explain it to you very diligently, give you warm overlayers, and you feel safe in their hands. The landscape is unbelievable and the hospitality is warm. We even got a little Fika break. If you find yourself up north in Sweden definitely book a tour with this company. It looks like they have a variety of activities as well :)

What a great trip! We had booked the 1-day tour, including harnessing and feeding the dogs. These dogs are wonderful creatures and Hannah and Jeremias are loving and understanding masters of the dogs. Totally friendly dogs, happy to be harnessed and fed by my husband and me (not to mention pulling us).
Hannah and Jeremias showed us how to 'drive' a sled - actually not too difficult (if the path is as easily navigable as the one Jeremias chose for us).
We took turns at mushing - that way nobody gets cold. You have to hold on, keep one foot lightly on the brake, shift your weight a little in curves and stomp on the brake if you need to stop. Fairly doable. Dress very warmly, but Hannah and Jeremias have extra warm clothes you can borrow.
The journey, nearly noiseless, through the deep snowy landscape - across lakes, through the darkening forest and finally unharnessing the dogs and feeding them - a great time had been had by all.
A definite recommendation - and as it is off the beaten track, the guest is really a treasured friend.
Added bonus: Hannah (who is quite a well-known musher, whereas Jeremias is more known as a guide) grows nearly all their food, bakes bread, bottles fruit and so on, which made for a most tasty lunch over the open fire!
A feel of Lappland!
