The sun was shining and the snow was sparkling, the dogs were barking in eagerness and all us guests were almost jumping up and down in excitement. Yes, the weather was amazing but that was just the cherry on top - the tour guide itself was an incredible experience. It was fun, fast and nothing Ive done before. All the dogs were kind, at first it was a little scary because of all the barking when they wanna go (they are racing dogs) but after a while you understand they love this and the dogs are friendly and likes to be pet in the break.
Åsa, our tourguide, was superkind, had close to laugh, explained everything well and also told us enthralling stories about racing, breeding and taking care of 75 dogs. I highly recommend this tour, its small and familiar and they do this as a hobby - not as a commercial tourist attraction.
Tusen tack Åsa, vi hade en oförglömlig upplevelse! Hälsa Dansa ifrån oss, och vi hör av oss om killen lyckas övertyga mig om att skaffa en valp ;)

We were amazed by the experience.
The connection with the animals pulling and us controlling the sled grew from the first day making it difficult to finally say good bye. The appreciation of a fire or a hot cup of tea after finishing a trip through the cold grandeur of nature and the open sky or after finishing chores which are forgotten re-open the eyes for what is essential.
Rick the guide was always calm, friendly and accommodating.
Do listen to your guide and definately accept the overalls andworking gloves... and also shoes and gloves and hats should you not be prepared for the Arctic climate. Remember that you are on the same latitude as Northern Alaska(!).
Asa the owner is very passionate about the dogs and her colleagues. It appears to be a very animal friendly enterprise.
We will definately return

What a fantastic three day trip! Guide Hanna took us out into the Swedish winter, everyone of the guest steering their own dog team - well to be honest: the dogs know the trail anyway! :-)
Accomodation in the ”wilderness” cabin close to the Torne river exceeded our expectations and on top of that Hanna is a great cook!
For the long trip (32km) on day two the weather was just perfect and on monday we got a bonus lightshow in the sky!

We had the most amazing time with Arctic Dogsled Adventures. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Our children aged 11 and 12 also had an unforgettable experience. Our guide Rick made us feel totally at home in the Arctic circle, and even though he must have taken thousands of punters through the same wilderness camp routine, he spoke with infectious enthusiasm. He was incredibly patient with all the first time dog sledders, as were the dogs. We were very taken with all our huskies. My kids wanted to take Alpina home. Highlights include: the dogs, the sauna, chopping frozen dog food, feeding the dogs, fetching water from the frozen lake, the dogs, incredible morning light, Swedish dumplings, running the sled across a frozen river, did I mention the dogs? A five star incredible experience! Thank you Rick for looking after us so well.

We took the northern lights snowmobile tour guided by the owner, Ulf. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for seeing the lights but we had a great time driving around the forests and lakes. Ulf told us about the landscape and living near Kiruna. After driving for a while, we stopped at the cabin he had built with his family and he cooked us dinner over an open fire and we warmed ourselves and talked. Such a cool experience! I would highly recommend this tour because whatever the weather brings, you will not be disappointed and have a great time. Also, it seemed very reasonably priced compared to other similar tours.

Did the morning 4h trip, and oh man would I do it again. We were picked up and dropped off very kindly. The extra hat, mittens, snow suits and boots did the trick. We did the driving of our own sled experience, swapping half way before lunch in a cosy little cabin, then a final swap afterwards. Hannah our lead guide was so professional, fun, and clearly displayed her passion for the dogs and sledding, and just life in general!
Obviously the dogs were all amazing, and you get lots of chances for cuddles.
The tour of the landscape, taking in open ground on the lake and through forests is breathtaking.
This family run business is a gem, would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic adventure you defently should do! Åsa is the ower and a professional dog handler, her wonderful dogs are very well trained and absolutely adorable and so kind. Our kids played and cuddled with them and loved it. We booked a private tour, 09.00-14.00, two adults and two kids, with two sleds that we could drive ourselves. Åsa explained the techniques before we took off into the wilderness, it all was very safe and FUN! Åsa was a very excellent guide and taught us about Kiruna and nature. We’ll be back! Thank you Åsa. family and staff for a great and very special adventure!

I went on a dog sledge tour with this company yesterday, (8th of January 2021). The booking process was smooth and they replied to my inquiries swiftly. The staff came to pick us up from our hotel in the morning. The drive took about 20 minutes. Our guide, Rick is amazing. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and has good humor. He talked to us throughout the dog sledge ride, offering us information about the dogs, weather, etc and he made a lot of jokes so that we would be at ease and his jokes made the ride even more fun! We took a break for lunch at a hut around an open fire. The food was tasty. We got to mingle with one of the leader dogs, sapphire, who joined us in the hut. Sapphire is such a sweetheart! We could also pat the other dogs while we stopped for the lunch break. All in all I am happy with the service and the ride! The weather yesterday was perfect (not too cold), and the dogs were all cooperating well. I dropped my mobile phone during the ride and I would like to thank Rick and his team for searching for my phone, and luckily my phone was found about 1 km from the starting point! Rick was kind enough to drive to the hotel where I stayed and returned my phone to me. I couldn’t thank him enough! Thank you again for the superb service and and amazing experience!

We enjoyed a lot the tour, the guides were very nice and answered all the questions we had about dogs! We spent very cosy time with Åsa during dinner, she explained about her experience and life in Kiruna, and dog-sledge sprint competitions. It was very genuine, it did not feel touristy at all and I really recommend the experience. They focus a lot in the well-being of the dogs which made feel happy. I really liked the positive view of Rick!! Top-notch!

We had a great experience. The owner of this family business gave us a wonderful snow mobile tour while telling us all about living around Kiruna, the mines, wildlife and reindeer and husky keeping. The stop at the selfmade cabin was wonderful, we ate warm Swedish bread and soup, and had tea. We were very fortunate to witness amazing northern lights, but even without that we had a fantastic tour.
