Tours and Tickets by Snowdog The Arctic Adventure Co.
If you are interested in dogs, you will love being here at Snowdog. We have an amazing bunch of super friendly canines. Oh, of course, we have a big bunch of superhero puppies you may wish to meet? We will tell you about Lapland, dog sledding and of course the resident Hero's - our dogs.

Dog Sledding with Craig and his team at Snowdog was a fantastic experience. I did two tours, one with the dogs and another on Snowmobile. What an experience! The dogs are super friendly and extremely strong (like wow, even the smaller/more slender dogs - helping setting them up for the sleds you got to feel their strength, totally different from pet dogs!). They look very well cared for and i loved the little stories and character quirks the guides told us about each of them - you really see they are part of the family and not just a number (i chose this kennel because they have a small number of dogs and its not a mass tourism thing where the animals just get pushed around and exploited). After the tour you are able to feed the dogs a big chunk of frozen meat (which they happily devour), then help remove their harnesses. You are involved every step of the way and driving the dog sled is simply the best! After the tour, we had a lovely cup of coffee and nice cake in the fire hut over a warming wood fire. The second tour was a private Snowmobile tour (only up to 4 people) - we drove past the Ice hotel up the frozen river (super james bond vibe!!) and into the snowy forest, away from civilization and into the complete wilderness! The snowmobiles they use are top quality and the tour was as long as advertised (in fact i think even a bit longer). I would highly recommend you to look up snowdog if you're around in Kiruna. Craig, his dogs and his team really look after you!…

I have been there after the season during my journey home through Sweden. The snow situation hasn‘t allowed a tour. But Craig invited me to the home of his husky crew. Super friendly and nice! I will come back one day for a multi day adventure. The Dogs are super cute and friendly. Surprised me as a person without any dog experiences a lot. Keep going this way! Thanks.…

Craig is a good host that knows how to make his clients feel right at home. He has a good thing going with Snowdog and also offers accommodation only 200 meters from the dog kennel. Also, he has extensive knowledge about the outdoors so if you are interested in further exploration of the arctic wilderness, be sure to inquire about upcoming excursions.…

Amazing experience made possible by professional SnowDog-staff with so much love to dog sledding and huskies. Warm coffee afterwards - important, because it was a bloody cold night trip through frozen landscapes. Just do it!
