Tommy and Susanne are the greatest hosts, talking very passionate and sweet about their dogs and hosting a great tour. Small group/private tour (what their specialty is), is fantastic; great stories, great coffee, lots of care and no waiting in the cold (what a problem is with big groups). Great facilities, great and clean gear. We were really warm and taken good care of.

Tommy picked us up at our hotel and gave us a really interesting commentary about the area on the trip to their home/kennels.
They had a wide range of really high quality equipment available for our use and involved us in the setting up and harnessing of the dog team with lots of details about the dogs and their personalities.
The trip out to their tepee was enriched by Tommy's intesting information about the are, wildlife and dog training.
We then had tea/coffee and sandwiches round a cosy fire before the run home.
Overall a great trip which the glorious weather made even better!

We spent a very good time during our tour with Tommy.
He 's a great guide and has shared a lot of stories.
Susanne and Tommy are really passionated and their dogs are well treated.

Laxforsen Sleddog is a cosy company run by Tommy and Susanne. They raise and care for their dogs personally and you can easily tell that they love animals and nature (they have many pets in their home as well).
Booking with them was very easy via email. They are very quick to respond to emails and they only take a few people on their tours each day as they want to provide a personal and unique experience for their customers.
Before setting out on the dog sled trip, we were provided with warm overalls, boots and gloves. We then started the dog sled trip from their house which was right beside the lake. We went along the lake which had an amazing view, with Tommy pointing out to us interesting facts and information of the area during the ride. We then turned into the forest where we were treated to another unique experience of riding in the woods. We rested at a teepee halfway during the tour so that the dogs could rest, and we were provided with a warm fire, hot drinks and delicious snacks. Tommy shared his life experience there and there was never a moment in which the tour felt rushed. After the break in the teepee, we returned to the lake via another route with magnificent views, and finally ending the tour back at their house again. We even had time after to meet some of their pets.
We highly recommend the tour especially if you are looking for a bespoke and personal experience. Such experiences are hard to come by!

Went on an evening tour with Tommy and Susanne at the beginning of April. We chose Laxforsen because it was recommended to us, and we wanted to go with a small company for a more personal experience. Booking was straight forward and they responded quickly to any queries we had. We had a an amazing time, Tommy and Susanne were very friendly and it was obvious they care deeply about their dogs. Tommy was a great sled guide, very knowlegable about the area's history, local traditions and pretty much anything else we asked him. Would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a personal tour with warm and welcoming local people.

We received quick responses when we booked our trip online. Tommy collected us from our hotel promptly and took us to the dogs and sled. We were the three guests and Elin drove the sled. The very friendly dogs were keen to pull the sled through amazing countryside. When we took a rest break for a warm drink in a teepee Elin (who spoke excellent English) was very interesting to talk to, with her local knowledge it was most interesting. We got back on the sled for the rest of the journey home through woodland and over a frozen lake. We were not rushed, made welcome and had a good afternoon out. We would suggest any one reading this review try Laxforsen sleddog first! We would love to go again

Awesome tour, the owners are friendly and take the time to answer all your questions. We loved the fact that it is a small, family run company that really cares about their dogs and is passionate about what they're doing.

We have been so welcome by Tommy and Susanne.
It was a great experience .
We have been offered warm clothing,which was very appreciated.
Susanne and Tommy obviously had a strong fusional connection with their lovely dogs.
All was perfect. To be recommended highly.
