The world doesn't need to pass by at a hundred miles an hour. The trip was leisurely, passing through varied scenery and full credit to the operators for a concept turned into reality. I'll be passing on the brochure to some rail heritage groups back...More

We were not expecting much on a drizzly cool day but boy were we pleasantly surprised. This is a professional outfit and they have overcome many obstacles to make this attraction a must do when visiting Rotorua. From the amazing log house office, come waiting...More

Young and old alike will enjoy "driving" your own train through beautiful scenery of native bush. Plus to be standing in the Ranger's office from the Yogi bear movie is pretty cool!

We had a fabulous time, although I personally thought it was a little expensive at the time of paying, but when we realised how specialised it really is and the work gone into providing this experience, it was justified. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful....More

Just a fantastic way to spend 3 hours - particularly for little kids to enjoy the charms of the railway. Its a moderately scenic route but one that allows you to relax and kick-back while the kids are entertained

A different type of experience that lets you enjoy the scenery around you while listening to the history of the local railway.
