Definitely worth the short walk from Surlingham Ferry but don't expect much other than the ruins. Ted Ellis' s grave is nearby.

After visiting the Ted Ellis Nature reserve we then came across the resting place of Ted and his wife when visiting these ruins. It's a bit overgrown around the ruins but nevertheless a very peaceful place to stop and reflect.

Was looking forward to seeing the ruins but there wasn't much to see and what you could see was fenced off with barbed wire! It was nice to see but I am pleased I didn't make a special visit just to see this.
