I haven't eaten kangaroo since about 1995 in Balmain in Sydney (tasted like a thick rat tail on a bed of sweet potato mash). Thought that I would give it one last go at Wesley Anne and they totally nailed it. Delicious. I'm eating our...More

Great food, can get crowded. If you go early you can get a table or booth. This quaint little former church hall is dim, ambient and cozy. In winter the door is closed step through and experience all the charms this place has to offer....More

The Wesley Anne has great bands in a separate band room, and a small band corner at the main bar. The food there is really good, and it has a better than normal wine list. The drinks there are pricey, but not the most expensive...More

We arrived late and the place was full of people having a great time. This old converted church lends a wonderful ambience to the place. Highly recommend the hot buttered spiced rum as a late night drink.

I was introduced to the Wesley Anne by a musician friend, whose jazz band was playing there. Liked it. Warm-feeling and well-proportioned room for live music, plus a big bar and eating areas occupying the rest of the premises. Tram stop nearby.

The Wesley Anne signals class from the moment you spot the entrance. This pub has three distinct areas catering for drinkers, listeners and diners. The extensive menu offers much more than you'd expect in a pub. Great food and reasonable prices. The music genre changes...More

This Northcote institution is a combination of restaurant/bar/band room. They serve a range of modern meals and beers/wine/cider but err in the side of a little overpriced. The parfait is the bestest and so are the range of vegetarian meals that usually go beyond the...More
