During summer this is a very hectic place where you can just walk around or have a cup of coffee. In few square meters you will have plenty of choices either cultural, gastronomic or social in general. Very often you will also see some historic...More

I loved this harbour. Its really big, and you can walk around the boats, and to the view point. There is also a beach on the other side of the harbour wall. Nearby there is a street food restaurant.

When you visit the castle in Helsingor be sure to walk the town and visit the shops. These are nice happy people with good food and pleasant surroundings.

This is a beautiful place to visit and has many interesting places to see. Too many to list however if you are able to see a boat named "Viking" at port, it offers a mini tour of harbor and surrounding area. A very reasonable price...More

By the harbour wall in Helsingor Havn is a statue reminiscent of the little mermaid in Copenhagen. This time it is a Mer Boy called HAN. The statue seems to be made out of stainless steel and has a wonderful blue hue. On a sunny...More

While the other half was at the conference, I went for a casual walk to see the town. So picturesque, restaurants and bars scattered all over.

In tve winter not much is going on here. However I can totally recommend a walk (or run) in this area, along the water front. It’s relaxing and sometimes very windy :) The walk will take you from the station to the castle and back...More

The vibrantly colored houses and cobblestone streets take you back into a time when life was much simpler. It also provides a chance for some excellent photo op's. The half day trip to Helsingor Havn and the Castle are a great take.

There appeared to be a lot of ferry traffic around the harbour, not sure where they were going. Google ferries from ------ to ------ and you will get lots of info, good luck.

Yes, it's a very straightforward journey and Helsingor is the end of the line so you can't miss it. Try to pick up a timetable for the return journey in Copenhagen as Helsingor station isn't very user-friendly.
