Address
Neighborhood: Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

    Awesome time killer.
We stumbled across this place whilst waiting to do our escape room and were pretty glad we did. This place is full of weird and wonderful facts, walking around its no wonder it is called believe it or not as some of the tour does seem pretty unbelievable. We got a discounted price as we had also done the guinness factory, this made it like a third of the price, otherwsie i wouldn't necessarily say it's worth doing. However as titled awesome time killer and would probably recommend if you're short of things to do, but there is so much cool stuff to do in Copenhagen so wouldn't prioritise this over alternatives.
Hi aymanelswaf Thank you for your 4 star review and for visiting us. I'm happy you had a great time here. Kind regards, Mikkel / Ripley's Believe It or Not!

Ok way to spend 45 mins
I booked a fun pass online as this is cheaper than on the day prices. I only booked it because most places are closed in Copenhagen on a Monday. This is an interesting place to visit but not amazing. It was a fun way to spend the time but if I'm being honest, if other museums or castles were open on a Monday it would be better to visit them as this is a bit run down and small.

    Fine and thats about it
If it wasn't for the Copenhagen card we would probably have avoided going here. You can buy a ticket to take in four attractions (or use Copenhagen Card) here, Guiness Records, Hans Cristian Anderson and Exploratoria which is 260kr (around £20) which is cheap for four attractions but they are similar and very small in the latter two cases. If you have limited time then there is very little point wasting it here, if you have 30 minutes to kill when nearby and time is not an issue you might get something out of this.

Diverting for an hour or so
An exquisite carving from a camel bone was the most delightful exhibit. Depicting Sun Wukong's defiance of the Gods, The Monkey Mountain took forty craft carvers more than six months to complete. A portrait of Ms Munroe entirely in nail polish and one of Bruce Springsteen made, appropriately enough, entirely from pieces of vinyl records are interesting. Art in toast is another curiosity. Coubert’s The Stone Mason is shown recreated from sixty slices of toasted white bread. Unique animals are to be seen. A surviving two-headed calf and an albino deer are here.

    Will put in 30 minutes.
I was in the area and this showed up on my Copenhagen Card App. It did feel incredibly dated in areas and there were some areas that desperately require some TLC. However, the content was interesting and the facts were rather interesting.. especially the story about Ripley himself. I am sure in its heyday - this would have been a solid attraction.

    Outdated
Interesting experience. Staff were friendly and approachable. However the actual museum was quite outdated and needed a bit of a reverb. Could of been a lot better for how much we had paid to go to this, was disappointed as we were looking forward to going in. Needs a bit of life put back into it as it could be much better.

    It's just Cool
Ripley's Believe it or not is a collection of information in the form of visual representation of some of the most unusual events or characters in history. It's more to do with entertainment than historical incidents of importance. You would like the place more with kids but if uou don't visit it, you have not lost much.

    Fun and full of surprises
Second time coming this year. It might seem gimmicky at first glance but there are some very interesting human stories within and I had enormous fun with my friend working around the exhibits. It's quite expensive but you can get good deals if you have the Copenhagen card or want to explore more than one attraction. It was great to go into a real Ripley's Believe it or Not! Some small updates to the attractions wouldn't go amiss, just to give it a bit of a gloss. An enjoyable few hours!

    Not especially unbelievable
We visited this location as we saw it on the Copenhagen card and had a spare hour. I wish we hadn't bothered! It's really dated, not surprising at all and downright creepy in places (Not in a good way.) One of the videos which are showing was published in 1996 and it doesn't look like it's been updated since then. The Hans Christian Anderson experience at the end is an ok reminder of his works, but again, nothing magnificent. Would not recommend stopping by as there's so much else to do.

Should be left in the past
This is like a bygone age fairground attraction- where it should have remained. Poor in both modern standards of acceptance and as an exhibit. Only visited as it was included with the H C Anderson exhibit (which was also very disappointing) on the Copenhagen card

This exhibit is really dated with no new sort of explorations. It felt like stepping back into the 90s time warp. We had this experience included with our Copenhagen card so it was “free” but time in my life I’m never going to get back. Saying this it’s a good way to kill time whilst it’s raining.

Hi SineadEA Thanks you for visiting, I am happy you put your Copenhagen Card to good use! Sorry that failed to deliver what you expected. We are in the progress of renovating many parts of the attraction and I hope you'll give us another chance. Best regards, Mikkel / Ripley's Believe It or Not!

I found this one really fun and charming.
I had previously visited the one at Orlando and, while this one is smaller, it doesn't take its attraction value.
Combine it with the Guinness world record entrance to enjoy both in an afternoon

More fun than I expected. I had read the mixed reviews & thought we would stop in for corny kicks because we stayed at Scandic Palace Hotel right next to it & we have the Copenhagen Card. But it was very interesting & there was also the Hans Christian Andersen segment to walk through.
