We had a good time on the canal boat tour, and very much appreciated the fact that the boat itself had a glass dome because the weather started to turn, and we had some rain off and on throughout the journey. The tour was only in English, and the tour guide spoke excellent English and had a cute sense of humor about what he was showing us. I thought he was perfect for the job. I know this tour company is more money than the Netto version, but if you have the Copenhagen card, it doesn't really matter because both companies accept it. The tour is about an hour and it does take you to places you wouldn't ordinarily go to or view at all.

We did it on Saturday since our flight was in the evening and we checked out at11. The sun was shining so we walked to the ticket office and we queued for 15minutes and we were booked for the 1.20pm tour. We were asked to get there at least 10mins prior the departure so we stayed local. The tour itself was actually really, really good: our guide, Sebastian, was very funny! It lasted one hour but it felt like 20minutes, I didn’t really wanted it to end! I think we paid £35 for the 2 of us. There’s a QR code by the ticket office so you can go there and scan without queueing . Highly recommend!

Overall it was a fun hour. Saw parts of the city we wouldnt have otherwise been able to see, got the Little Mermaid out of the way and spent a pleasant hour on the water despite the fact that 1/2 through it started to pour. Our guide had plastic rain jackets for us to put on and at one point we hid under a bridge. Made for a different ride. I'd recommend it though in our case it was included with our hotel reservation. They gave us a voucher

We enjoyed this tour however it was not very informative. The guide took time to do explanations in multiple languages so that limited how much info she could share, also one area was a residential quiet area. While we liked going out on the boat it was a bit boring.

While we were in Nyhaun , we decided to take the Canal tour , which was excellent value at £11 each . There was also a great guide that explained and pointed out the various buildings that we were passing, making sure that we ducked under the low bridges that we were passing .
It was good to see the canal from a different viewpoint.
The tour took about an hour and took us as far as the little mermaid, pass the Amulienborg palace as well as the Borsgade area.

Copenhagen is amazing. I love the city and it’s a great place to take a canal tour. Next time I would try someone else.
I say that because I heard only about 40 % of what the tour guide said. There’s nothing wrong with my hearing. We arrived at 2.30 for a 2.40 tour and the boat was almost full. We had to take the seats at the very back in the middle. So we were in front of the propellor and furthest away from the speakers in the side of the boat. There needs to be a speaker right behind that middle seat otherwise you’re just watching man’s mouth and arms moving while your your Copenhagen.

The Copenhagen canal lights tour is a disgraceful piece of consumerism and smells of utter opportunism!
The best lights to see are those on the boat roof or the green beam through the sky.
Go to Disneyworld, Shanghai or Hong Kong to see what a lights show should look like!
.... a total waste of money! You couldn't see anything from inside the boat, we were all sat inside as it was raining.
It was a farce as I had printed off my tickets and thankfully, had arrived 20 mins before departure. Even though I had printed off the tickets, I was still instructed to join a really long queue and obtain boarding passes. There was only one member of staff serving and it took forever, almost missing the departure. Very disorganised.

The canal tour was relaxing and amazing. Despite the cold weather, we greatly enjoyed the city sights and history. The hostess did an outstanding job in walking us through the history and background. She shared some fun facts which made the tour very enjoyable. The boat driver was very friendly and pleasant. He offered to wipe dry the front seats after the rain.
It was a great way to see all key sites and wonderful picture taking opportunities. We purchased the combo canal tour and Tivoli tickets that offered a slight discount. We highly recommend the canal tour.

For around £10 this was excellent value for money, and after a morning walking to the little mermaid and back to Nyhavn we were ready to just sit and watch the world go by. Our guide Annabel was friendly and informative. I can only imagine how many times a day she has to ask everyone to sit down as we went under the various bridges. Great that each window opens as far as you need to take photos and stay warm. Spotted things to visit on foot on our second day. Brilliant!

This is an excellent way to see the city. It was below freezing, so quite chilly out in the inner harbour, but worth getting cold. The guide was excellent - very good English commentary. He not only pointed out all the key sites but had the back story too. Highly recommended.

Hi! What if we have copenhagen card? Is it necessary to buy tickets online in this case? Or we just have to buy them at the checkout?
Finns det flytvästar för barn ombord?
Kære jacob M,
Der er redningsveste til børn ombord, men det er ikke noget man får på i forbindelse med vores sejlads.
God dag.
Venlig hilsen

Is it really necessary to print out the tickets or is it enough to show them on your mobile phone?

We were with a large group so we did not need tickets. Sorry this probably did not help you a lot.

Hi, The earliest canal Tour is 9.30, and it starts at the end of Nyhavn.
Look after Kongens Nytorv .... a Big Square ...on a map. On one side, Nyhavn start. Enjoy Copenhagen.
