Concert in frontyard outside before main concert inside of venue

Nice free concert in the frontyard, outside of venue. Inside of Pumpehuset, cool place, several bars, amfi theatre like seats.

don't bother buying a ticket. There is no separate queue for people without a ticket or with one. They will make you wait with everyone else, even if it is empty inside!

Place was cool. Had old time charm but nice capacity for a concert. Two levels. Top for larger shows and a smaller downstairs stage. 3 Heineken for 100 danish. Outside couttyard when nice weather hits. Close to train station

Looking for underground stuff to do in Copenhagen, I came across this place and thought I'd check it out. I was pleasantly really surprised and enjoyed the show very much. Their line ups, their venue, their staff and the whole atmosphere was great! If you happen to be there for a short getaway, this is a place to visit for... More

We'd heard great reviews from our Danish friends of this place, and it lived up! We went three days in a row to the free shows that they have outside in the summer. We didn't know who would be playing, we just showed up and were usually pretty happy with the outcome. Saw some fabulous bands!

Best place in Copenhagen. Best sound in the city, and the best music. Most HipHop, Rock and electronic music. (Drum and Bass, Dubstep, etc.) look at their program on: www.pumpehuset.dk

At the moment there is an outside stage with live acts almost every night. Get a beer and bring your own food or get some from a food truck which come regularly. Mixed audience. Local, tourists and all ages. Good atmosphere. Had a blast.

Great Eventvenue and we had some pleasant stays at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival some years ago. Overall situated near train station and easy to reach.

Copenhagen live venues tend to be institutionalized. Owned by the government, ideal funds and the likes. This is, to my knowledge, the only larger venue in Denmark own by private people. We met them when there - they were on the floor - both people around 30. It's rough, industrial and well-driven. There's a passion to it, that we really... More
