Did early morning walk and stumbled to the spring, but did not realize it is a top attraction. I thought this fountain is cool. Just took some photos. After left to home, I realized it is Gefion spring. It is far from other top attractions...More

The Norse goddess statue is very massive and detailed. Worth a quick stop to see and walk around. The bulls represent her sons.

Enjoyed this whole area (near Little Mermaid) we just happened to stop to see the park (Kastallet) and church. Glad we did the fountain was a very nice feature. Don't drive to go see, but if you are in the area, certainly worth a 5...More

This was one of the very first statues and landmark Anglican churches next to it on saw on my visit to Copenhagen. Not to far away from this area is the iconic Little Mermaid Statue that sits in the same water surrounding this historic fountain....More

This fountain is located on the way to the Little Mermaid from town alongside a nice church. The Fountain is large and has a strange snake motif, topped off with a statue Gefjun. Legend has it that the Swedish King Gylfi promised Gefjun the territory...More

It is very nice fountain but no need to make it priority. There is a small little church on the side that worth to visit too.

Very nice statue with a running fountain. This wonderful piece of art is located next to St Albans church and is worth stopping and admiring.

It's a statue. Of Gefionspringvandet. I am not sure how something like this could be either excellent or terrible. I mean, it is just a statue, of Gefionspringvandet, in the middle of Copenhagen. Bonus mark for the action.

This fountain is located in front of a church very close to the Citadel. It shows huge animals driven by a Norse goddess. There is some legend attached to it, as our tour guide explained. It is about 100 years old.
