The Gefion fountain is a must see when visiting Copenhagen. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery including the glorious St.Albans church, a beautiful bridge and gorgeous gardens perfect for a picnic on a sunny day. It is also only a few minutes walk away from the little mermaid statue. The fountain it's self is beautiful and is ideal for taking... More

This is a very impressive statue and would not look out of place in any venue in Spain. Very bold and strong and quite impressive in its location

The most beautiful fountain and statue in the park beside the first cruise port, near the little mermaid, and St Albans church The queen was told she could only keep the amount of land she could plow in 24 hours so she turned her three sons into oxen's and plowed the land she now controls as Copenhagen The story changes... Situated not far from the Little Mermaid statue this is just on the edge of Churchill Park which boasts a bust of Churchill himself. Good mythical tale about its origins and representations. The church standing next to it was funded by British King who had married Danish Princess so the British living in the city would have somewhere to worship.

This is a very large monument near The Little Mermaid statue. It is very imposing. The area around it is a very nice area to explore.

Very cool sculpture, go here a sunny day and walk around the park/walls. The main sculpture which is the first thing you see is quite cool.

Nothing much to see here, just a grand fountain with the canal running through beside it. There's a bridge a few steps away from it and the garden is right below it. Wouldn't make my way out specifically for this attraction at all.

The many details of this fountain become more evident as you walk around it - both uphill and around the base and up the other side. It sits right near the harbor and the large park, just a short walk from the Little mermaid statue in the harbor
