Most attractions open at 10 am in Copenhagen, so this was a great way to spend a morning. Lots of foul to look at and a well maintained set of paths to wander. There are also places to sit and relax. A nice oasis.
The Frederiksberg have is a really nice well maintained park. Great for a stroll or just to relax. It is behind to zoo and the elephants are clearly visible from the park. Our children saw it as a bonus...
Visited this park in the peak of autumn and it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve done on my trip. So peaceful, so relaxing, such natural beauty! Would definitely recommend a stroll through these gardens if you’re in Copenhagen in autumn!
Beautiful place to hang around with the family. You can even see the elephant site as the zoo is by the garden. It is really amazing to suddenly see the elephants when walking around. The garden has plenty of different specifes and trees of all...More
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find
Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
Hi Our hotel is at Nyhavn, Please advise if the Frederiksberg Have is within walking distance from Nyhavn or should we take the metro to Frederiksberg Station. Any information is appreciated. Thanks & regards Sandy

Hi. I will be arriving into Copenhagen airport at 10am and departing that evening to Aarhus by train at either 7 or 8pm. I was wondering what the best things to do to get the most our of Copenhagen in those hours. I was thinking: 1. From airport head to city centre walk around Strøget and Kongens Nytorv, head to Amalienborg Castle for the changing of the guard at 12. OR go straight to centre to meet at 11am for Sandemans New Copenhagen Tours for 3 hours. (2. After that go for lunch...More

Why not "get lost" in the city for some hours without going anything in particular and being guided. Or: Take a map and walk towards Nyhavn by taking by Glyptotek, Stormgade, Magstraede, Thorvaldens, see Christiansborg, Stock Exchange, pass by Nikolaj church, Kgs Nytorv. Go to Nyhavn and take a canal boat. Back to Nyhavn, see Amalienborg and Marble church and then go towards Torvehallerne passing Kings garden and Rosenborg. Rest, eat and drink in the food halls before going further to your...More
