We visited in the evening when it was quiet and were able to walk around without a crowd. It is definitely a place for children rather than adults and while there is some English the majority of commentary is in Danish. I don't mind this as I am in Denmark after all but don't come expecting to be able to... More

We went here for the movie on the dome inside the planetary, but ended up learning stuff from the space exhibition in the foyer. Well, we saw the movie as well, but the exhibition was much funnier and gave far more.

Near Vestebro Train Station you'll find this Planetarium which is also an IMAX cinema. Several science movies are displayed during the day, and there is also a small exhibition in the hall with space suits and models of the ISS. Great for the kids. Take with you some earphones, so that you can enjoy the movie in English (the movies... More

I remember this being build 26 years ago and I went many times the last time being 21 years ago. Back then I saw a film called the 4 seasons which was amazing. Going back after 21 years was quite exiting, and between the 4 of us we could not decide which film to watch so we ended up buying... More

Stunning 3D movie that takes you from the planets to the Galaxies to the string of Galaxies and to the very edge of the known universe. The Imax film that follows while not 3D is spectacular. English commentary via headphones.

I only went to the IMAX theatre and I loved that. At first there was a 3D space movie which was great, followed by a longer movie. Most movies have English translation with airphones, but it is extremely difficult to concentrate on because you hear two languages at the same time. But this is DENMARK and they do not really... my friend and I had a copenhagen card so popped in because it was includeD and I'm so glad we did. We went to the journey to space show and there was a short 3d film beforehand. This was my favourite part. It was a short introduction to the stars and planets and I really felt like I could touch... More

I went here to see an IMAX film about space, and was not disappointed. If you're a student, make sure you buy your tickets from the counter - the ticket machines didn't seem to have the discount option. The planetarium is not necessarily huge, but there are a lot of different sections where you can look at the universe from... More

Liked the focus on the European contribution to space exploration, something we don't get much of at home. The planetarium show and IMAX movie were also very good.

Unless you are into the imax movie this is such a disappointment. The entrance fee is high, the exhibition is small and not very interesting. There are a few nice things and a few interactive games for the kids, but the whole tour doesn't take more than an hour. The cafe was closed (and had a small selection), the toilet... More
