Very easy attraction to get to but to be honest I was a bit dissapointed. I don't know what I was expecting I suppose but it is just what it says on the tin. A small mermaid.

So it's an icon! You see it check off your list. Like Plymouth Rock it is small and as they say "it's a fool that has not seen it but a fool who has gone to see it twice"!

A lot of tourists but you can take rather good fotos anyway. Nice walk across the water. Souveniers, ice cream and beverage.

If your in Copenhagen then visiting the little mermaid is a must! It's a lovely walk to see her and doesn't cost anything.

This falls into the category of "must see" sights. She can be seen by both land and sea and while not as large as I expected she is lovely.

Free of charge to see it. It's a must for any tourist going to Copenhagen/Dk. Difficult to reach, it's in the north of Copenhagen, I went there by train. I also took pic of it from behind, from the tourist boat. Be careful, when you...More

This is a huge tourist attraction for no real apparent reason. It's cute, but really has no significance. I wouldn't write home about it or cry if I missed it.

The statue is very small and the place is really crowded, but visiting it is a must-do when you are in Copenhagen. Nice walkways nearby!

I guess I had thought it would be much bigger. The piece is well done, easily accessible and you can get close for photos if you want. Just off the side of the roadway, easy to find.

It is free. You just see it a few meters away when you walk down by the water on "Langelinie", or on your way to the park; you can take a few steps down on rocks to get close and take a picture.
