The beautiful Black Diamond building is certainly worth a visit, with its impressive modern architecture and innovative interior design. Particularly noteworthy is the rare books and documents section, which houses fascinating editions of ancient tomes as well as letters by famous writers and philosophers. Could have spent hours there! The old library building is also interesting. Would have appreciated better... More

Beautiful modern interior design at a great harbor-front location, this sight is worth a stop especially if you need a little rest break for snacks, drinks, rest-rooms, free internet, general information or a quiet water-front reading/resting place.

Andersen Boutique is well appointed, friendly and provides the service I find important: full breakfast and free wifi with a central location.

The library consist of two building, an old one and a new one. Both are very interesting architecture, the olda has a little park, the new is on the bank of one of the canals. Mostly young people are sitting around, it is a kind of socializing place.

This library is located close to the water and is separated into two parts - one old and one modern. Both are very interesting in their own ways. The older side includes a lovely little garden area with a fountain that is quite peaceful. The modern side is on the edge of the canal and includes lots of areas to... More

Simple and modern interior design, nice view of river, free wifi, clean toilet, quiet, peaceful, good looking people - what else can you ask for a resting place after few hours walking for sight-seeing in a freezing winter day outside?

Always a good place to hang out. You can either just drop by and grab a book to read in the quiet section, or you can subscribe for a free membership and take books with you. The place looks pretty nice, so if you're as nerdy as I am, you may even use it for dating.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city.
