Smokey karaoke bar

We had a blast here on our first night in Copenhagen. Cheap beers, karaoke, and a fun staff. My only complaint was that it was a smokey bar.

Having visited karaoke bars the world over, I would have to say that this is one of THE most fun pubs in the world. Some people can properly sing (the bar staff are amazing!), others just go up for the giggles. The atmosphere is so realxed and everyone just has a laugh. Do not expect a fancy place. It certainly... After a good dinner with great friends and lots of wine, we through it was time to go sinning. What a terrible place Sams bar is. The door man is grumpy, you need to pay a fee for entrance, smoking is allowed, draft beers are flat and the song we ordered to sing never came on. Will never go again

This place was completely accommodating when we turned up with 20 stags unannounced. This is a busy bar. 80% men but great fun. Less expensive than some other places. It's down and dirty karaoke - great fun but don't expect up scale drinking!

Wow, if you want disdainful staff that misjudge people on the basis of their race, this is your place! Tried to come here for late dinner after shopping (before 10pm), was told the buffet and all alcohol was not available to us. Bearing in mind we had been shopping, rather than drinking, for a few hours, we were so put... More

After a few pints at the numerous pubs down the main shopping road, the China boxes are the best thing for your walk home! No doubt! I've had one every night since I've been in Copenhagen. They are cheap and tasty! Beware the chili though!

Came to this place for karaoke, was good and everyone sang quite well. You can smoke inside which is not amazing for non smokers but the fun atmosphere evens out. Not fancy or anything just a regular bar.

The front of the bar sells "China Box": a takeaway Chinese meal in a box. You are able to eat this in Sam's Bar, where I also purchased a soft drink to go with the meal. Annoyingly, the two purchases have to be made at separate places but you can eat the food inside without buying a drink. Chinese food... More

Came here once because of the chinese food that is located right outside. The seller told me I could eat inside... glad I did! Great place to be with friends or alone. Nice place, smoking allowed and great singers and catalog. Just give it a try!
