Architecture is good and typical of many other buildings in Copenhagen. If you have seen Borgen then this is must.

The reliability of Danish politicians is very high and the reason is given here in Christiansborg Palace. During my business trip to Copenhagen, I visited the Parliament to get some inspiration about democratic leadership supported by the people and I got very much.

really helpful staff and a beautiful palace. The sun was streaming in and unusually as the curtains were open the place has a light and airy feel and the colours shone. it has a fascinating history which you can understand more by visiting the ruins underneath

Growing up in Copenhagen, this was a number one for school trips! A Lovely palace, where the government also sits, and the area around is typical danish streets, a nice place to visit for history lovers, and it is definitely a palace to visit while in Copenhagen.

We were wandering around the city and a kind local suggested the Tower for the best view of the city. He was correct! It was wonderful.

It seems that the city is focused on this area, with major roads going through or around it. The area is surrounded by a canal. I had to pass by it about 6 times in the 48 hours I was in town just to get to my hotel and various sites. I didn't go inside, so I can only speak... More

A visit to the museum is good value. It traces the history of the Royal family and you visit some palace rooms which are in the same condition as they were when being used by members of the Royal damily

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighborhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
