This was a fantastic tour to explore less known parts of the city and experience really delicious food. The halloumi pita at the organic Arabic restaurant was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. A charming and knowledgeable host and cool new people to meet and heaps of food. A really fantastic experience. I went back to the restaurnat that we visited for a tasting for dinner the same evening.

Great walking tour to see some major sites and get your bearings for central Copenhagen. We learned some history and Danish customs and tried some delicious Danish treats. It was a fantastic way to spend my first day here. Sandra was terrific as a guide!

I did the Small Group Hygge & Happiness Culture Tour with OSKAR. 3 1/2hours in Copenhagen. He was very knowledgeable taking us to places we would never have found, introducing us to the Danish way of life. I would thoroughly recommend his tour as an introduction to Denmark.

Our family (2 adults, 2 younger teens) did a private 4 hour biking tour around all the sights of Copenhagen with our guide, Lars. Lars was very knowledgable and engaging and patiently answered at least a hundred questions from my kids! He also told funny stories and made us laugh so much. He took us to many places that we would never have found ourselves, which were often more interesting than the big tourist attractions. Because we were on a private tour, it was very flexible, we stopped for coffee early on and then for a cool drink towards the end and the biking pace was perfect for sightseeing. We were also able to keep the bikes for the rest of the day and felt confident to bike out to CopenHill on our own afterwards (actually Copenhagen is very bicycle friendly). I highly recommend this tour and the company.

Mathias was a great tour guide who really helped us understand the meaning of the word hygge! It was a small group which made it more enjoyable and he also provided great recommendations for other things to do in Copenhagen. Thoroughly recommend!

Family of 4, our sons are in their 30s. Had an excellent morning with Lukas who was knowledgeable and very friendly. He told us a lot about the history and culture of Denmark and answered all our questions. We also had coffee and different kinds of local cakes.

Christian gave us a truly wonderful day in Copenhagen. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, clearly loves the city and enjoyed sharing it with us. He was able to go with our flow and it was a truly great day- food, chatting, exploring. We learned about Danish life past and present as well.

My husband and I went on the private all day tour of Copenhagen. Our guide Pauline, was the best! She is so knowledgeable about everything that is Copenhagen. We loved the way she tells stories to explain the history and culture, it helped us absorb the all of the fascinating information. She kept us entertained the whole day. We say many sites and samples some sweets at cute little bakeries. It was a memorable day to say the least. We highly recommend this private tour and Pauline as a guide.

I had a lovely time with an intimate group of 3, including the tour guide
Christian. The overall experience was great, and I even made a new Danish friend by the end of it. I was also fortunate enough to receive a private tour around Copenhagen for the second half of the day. Christian was very friendly, knowledgable and talkative, making sure that I took in everything he knows about Copenhagen, its history and its local culture. The walk was organised and I really felt like I was a part of the Danes. I would recommend. :)

We arrive on cruise ship at 08.00 and want to do the Hygge tour, does it only start at 09.00?

Our shared group experience on our Hygge & Happiness tour only runs at 9 am. In most cases, we will be able to offer a private version of the tour at other times. You will have to be at least 6 people for the tour, or pay for minimum 6 people! If you're not 6, we have done private tours before for groups who have found each other on Cruise Critic in the ships rolecall. Here you can often find and talk to other travelers, who want to share a private tour with each other.
