Running Copenhagen offers running sightseeing in Copenhagen with a local guide. We believe in giving our guests a personal experience, so do not expect a monologue from us about Copenhagen. Instead expect to be chatting most of the way with your guide about life in Copenhagen, politics, restaurants, biking culture, things to do etc. We will of course not let you down in terms of telling you about Copenhagen, so expect to hear lots about the city's history and culture, and don't hold back on any questions you may have. We are here to serve...and have fun.

Happy Running,

Lena

Was in Copenhagen for a mere 48 hours for business, but had never been before and was dying to see the city. Lena was absolutely fantastic and so kind to accommodate my 6am run time request. We ran through the chilly city in the dark, but was so grateful to have seen so much in such a short time. We... More

Thanks to Lena for a very nice run through an (for us) undiscovered part of Copenhagen. It was informative (stopped a couple of times), sociable and a good work out. It made our city trip complete.

I can't recommend this activity highly enough. Even on one of the coldest days in February, Lena provided a terrific running tour of Freetown and insight on the city. I thoroughly enjoyed the run, and the floating sauna w/beer at the end. Best thing I did in Copenhagen.

Hi Frank, At first we thought us you gave us the grade "f". Thankfully, it was your initials :-). It was a pleasure running with you around Christiania and thank you for being hard skinned with regards to the cold. Luckily with the cold, came one of the most beautiful sunny days we have had this year. I hope you... More

A work colleague and I did a 10K Christianhaven tour. The guide was willing to meet us early on a Sunday morning (7:30 a.m.), so we got to see the city pretty much all alone. We stopped plenty of times and pace was moderate. Great way to get the lay of the land of the city and see some things... More

Hi Blazer, I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the run with Signe and yes - an early morning in the weekends spoil you to a very quiet city. One of the reasons why us guides are more than willing to meet at 7.30 am on a Sunday. You were doing us a favour by booking so early... More

Joined the "group" tour on Saturday but I ended up having a private run with Alexandra. It was a chilly 27 degrees when I woke up, and Alexandra brought me an extra layer since I was traveling light from New Orleans and wasn't prepared. I was perfectly warm though and had a delightful time seeing the city as the sun... More

Hi Elanor, Thank you for a great review and for running with Alexandra despite the cold. Luckily you were the same size as Alexandra so the wardrobe options were plentiful :-). I hope you and your brother enjoyed your stay in copenhagen and we are glad that you enjoyed our small capital despite the cold. All the best, Lena More

My boyfriend and I did this running tour during our mini-break to Copenhagen last weekend and couldn't recommend the tour highly enough. It started early which meant that we got to see all the sights before they got super-busy, and it left the rest of the day free for us to explore the city. Our guide Alexandra was friendly and... I will never forget that there are three "i"'s in Christiania - thanks to our tour guide, Jens! He was great! Jens was very knowledgeable about the city and the Freetown of Christiania. On our private tour, he ensured no one fell behind and was funny and full of stories and interesting facts. This was my second tour with Running... More

I did both a private running tour of Christiana and a group tour of Copenhagen. I highly recommend both, depending on your interests and budget.

Hi Ilan, You make me break a sweat even before our run :-). It is not that common that people book 1½ before they would like to run. But thanks to your flexibility and my emergency dryfit wardrobe in my office we were able to go for our run. So much fun - and really good fun to stop for... More
