We love mystery boxes and were so excited to see this included on our Copenhagen Card. It was a blast and very well put together. We only gave it four stars because some of the puzzles had nothing to do with the locations and we were hoping to use this as a way to learn more about the city.

We completed the Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace mysteries. We liked Amalienborg way more! It had more spots that you HAD to be there to answer the question and included little anecdotes about the history of the locations.

Fun game that lets you see a range of places!

We picked up our mystery envelope very easily and we had a great time running around Christiansborg trying to find the clues. Definitely a fun thing for couples or groups to do. The only issue we had was our last page was given to us in Danish when we requested an English pack but with a bit of help from Google translate we were able to figure it out!

Super nice entertainment

We were two pairs of good friends who tried Murder at the Round Tower. We had a super nice afternoon around old Copenhagen and of course took time for a cup of coffee along the way and a beer afterwards. A few clues were completely incomprehensible, but we got around to all the tasks and then found out who the killer was.

We can't recommend this tour at all, it was a complete waste of time and money. We chose the mystery around Christiansborg Palace because all other English adventures were sold out. This one was very boring, one just walked in circles around the palace. The quests and puzzles were poor to not existant and had nearly nothing to do with the places we had to search. The very last and most important riddle even was in Danish (in the English version!) such that we couldn't finish the mystery.

There was no experience

We tried to go on a mystery in Aarhus, as we had a gift card, but the shop we were supposed to go to didn't have any more boxes. We were sent on to a place which was closed that day. Next the place said they had never heard of mystery boxes, so we had to give up.
Can only find an email address for the company and they have not yet responded to our inquiry.

Fun way to explore the city

During my trip to Copenhagen with friends, we found this fun self-guided tour. We really liked that you don't have to book in advance, just join whenever you want with no pressure. It felt like we were detectives on a mission! We spent a few hours exploring, solving puzzles, and seeing the sights. If you like riddles and mysteries, you should definitely try it!

Not with your time or money
We had Copenhagen card do it cost nothing to try it, but I wouldn’t pay for this. It’s way overpriced. Should be $5-10 total as it’s a single notebook. Our young teen kids enjoyed it, but to us adults, we felt like we lost a ton of time to explore Copenhagen while they did this. Took several hours over two days. Would be a fun activity in your hometown for kids, but would not recommend wasting your time with it on a vacation unless you have time to kill and the Copenhagen card, making it free.

It’s a mystery
Very well put together mystery tour with high quality guide materials. Quite detailed and takes over two hours so could be other alternatives if you looking for easier treasure hunt type activity
