Christian, our guide gave us not only one of the best tours I have ever experienced, showing every important place in the city. He also shared with us a lot of local's insight which is useful, if you plan on staying in the city for a little longer, like I do. Now I know what is the best time to... More

DO NOT FALL INTO THE TRAP! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend New Port tours due to the unprofessional tour guide, definetely not worth the large sum paid. We were only allowed 10mins to visit each place of interest and were barely given any explanation of the various historic sites. After rushing us through the various sites,... More

We had the pleasure of touring with Soren in June. He was wonderful and our kids age 10, 9, and 3 were enthralled. NO small task.... He is an excellent guide and we will use him again next time we come back to visit The Little Mermaid. Highly endorse! h

New Port tours and Soren, guided us through a wonderful discovery of the best places and history of the old Copenhagen. Soren is a local from Copenhagen and not only showed us the touristic places but gave us a wonderful insight into stories and real history of the places and streets we visited.A really enjoyable saturday morning (23rd March 2013).... Choosing Soren as our guide was an excellent choice. While we limited in how much time we had to explore before boarding a cruise ship (less than three hours), we knew we wanted an efficient overview as well as a ride to the port. Soren gave us that and more! Besides picking us up and driving around his beloved city,... More

Soren is an excellent guide and made the tour very interesting. As a follower of TV serial "Borgen", I was interested to see him chat informally to a member of the current government who arrived at the Parliament building on her bike. It confirmed my impression of Danish people as very friendly and informal.

Seeing some of the Danish countryside and coastline, as well as three very different castles (a lavish hunting lodge for entertaining, a currently-used castle and an old fortress to collect sea taxes and protect from visible Sweden) was one of the highlights of our entire trip European visit! Soren is a very engaging and knowledgeable guide who weaves the stories... More

We had a great tour today led by Søren. It last for three hours and covered all the major elements of the central Copenhagen city core. He was well-versed on the history and it was a fantastic way to see and hear it. I would also recommend that you take a Netto boat trip that covers the eater areas. Both... More

We only had a day and a half in Copenhagen and wanted to make the most of it. Based on TA reviews we made a reservation for this tour and I am so happy that we did! First, we had absolutely perfect weather. But aside from that serendipity, Soren was a charming and knowledgable host. He is truly professional and... More

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighborhood Profile
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
