About
Welcome to ARoS Aarhus Art Museum - one of Europe's largest art museums situated in the heart of Aarhus, and the only one with a rainbow on top, Your rainbow panorama. ARoS is a house of art where our guests can be pleased, enlightened and challenged. The architecture is of international class. The same is the art. And both offer experiences of high carat: from light to thrill, from attitude to entertainment, from joy to challenge.

Very Beautiful

The presentation of the artworks is amazing. For an average person though, the exhibitions seem rather inaccessible.

A must if you visit Aarhus
Jul 2021 • Family
This is a must of you visit Aarhus. Not only is Eliasson's Rainbow extra ordinary but the three works by Turrell are just as exceptional.

A jewel in Aarhus's crown
Jul 2021 • Couples
The current art exhibition is very good with many paintings. The museum itself in an architectural gem with the possibilty of surveying the city skyline through various different coloured lenses from the roof top. The museum can only get better and better as more collections find their way to Jutland.

Impressions for all senses
Jun 2021 • Couples
Very wide range of modern art with a lot of impression for all senses. Several workshops for creating your own art and very friendly staff. Don't forget to visit the walk through the spectrum on tenth floor.

It's worth to see while in the city. But I think the museum is more suitable for grown ups than for small kids. And I also think that it's a bit expensive as to what to see inside.

A must see.

Great art exhibit! Plenty to see. The rainbow-walk on the top was the highlight for me, but there was plenty of great works. Note Norwegian Marianne Heske!

Worth it

Good Museum. I liked the upper floors very much. The presentation is well done and i liked the different-coloured rooms. Also the rainbow-rooftop is very cool. The so called "installations" in the basement are not my cup of tea...All in all a good museum. Recommend it

We loved the view thru the rainbow

We went to ARoS museum during a daytrip in Aarhus. The museum is very good organized and has very friendly staff. We spent a couple of hours in the exhibition, had tasty lunch and enjoyed some ice cream on the roof after walking the rainbow.
