We took the 3 hour blue walk from the Parking lot at KlintebygĂĄrd. We are not used to trekking tours but are so happy that we did this tour in the most fantastic nature I have ever seen in Denmark. We found a really nice spot about 30-45 min after starting where we had our lunch on a big clip overviewing a lake in the middle of fantastic forest fauna. The blue trip brings you through a lot of different nature which makes it really interesting. We would recommend everyone who has the fysics for it to do this tour! Wear good shoes :)

A visit to Paradisbakkerne is most! Not only did we enjoy the big Rocking Stone (“Rokkestenen”) – which worked (you just need to push it frequently a couple of times - it is not much but it rocks! :) – BUT this place has the perfect hiking tracks!
The beautiful landscapes are very variated with forests, rock formations, cliffs, lakes and open places which makes the hike really interesting! When I’m going to Bornholm again – this will be a must experience on my “to do” list – and I’ll bring a packed lunch and find a beautiful and quiet place to picnic (it will not be difficult to find a perfect spot :)

Paradisbakkerne is my favorite forrest in Denmark. It has all you can expect of a forrest in this part of Scandinavia. A rocky landscape with rapidly changes in the charactwr of the landscape. Beautiful lakes, and overviews, butterflies, birds and reptiles abound, as do delicious mushrooms and blueberry in seasons. On top you can find small meat eating plants in some of the small lakes and marshes. You can also throw in a few ruins and the popular rocking stone. Check it out whenever you are ready for a nice long walk on Bornholm.

A nice walk in the woods, but when you're from Norway it's like everywhere else. We saw two deer running around. We had high hopes for this famous "rokkestenen", and were let down by the fact that it is a rock you can move 2 cm if you try real hard. I don't know what we expectet, but we seemed to be the only ones that had a long face. People were cueing up to give it a go.

Beautiful walks, see rockformations, pick mushrooms... Not very crowded but with many different hikes.

The hike we did (yellow marking from the Oksmyrevej parking) was wonderful. Every 10 minutes the landscape was totally different, and always beautiful. It was a fairly easy hike (there are no steep slopes), partly in the forest and partly on a heath. I enjoyed it much more than the more famous Ekkodalen. This remains one of my favourite hikes on Bornholm.

It was raining and we reluctantly started the walk from the bus stop near Arsdale. The rain stopped and we enjoyed the hike. We made the red and yellows loops. The ground was wet but it was not a problem. The views of rocky cliffs, boulders, clear lakes, old trees and acres of heathers made the hike a memorable experience. It was the second best hike on the island, just after the Hammeren coastal walk.

If you come from Sweden this is just a wood, nothing special about it. It did have a so called rocking stone, a large ice age thing that you might move pushing in the right way.

You can access Rokkestenen/the rocking stone from several dirctions, i can recommend the one from Klinteby.
Take the red route, it's a 3 km that will take you past the Rokkesten and a picture perfect "mountain" lake (Grydesø).
And it IS super easy to get the stone to rock! Small pulses with pretty high frequency do the trick. My 13 year old dauther managed.
Note: the walking routes are NOT well marked. When in doubt, take the "main" path, ie the biggest

A nice hike in the Rain! We went here on a bad wether day so we had a bit of Rain and a bit of Sun. Very nice nature and a lot of up and down hills. We went on the blue path about 5km. it was not an easy hike but not to hard either. I would recomend anyone with bikes to leave them in the parkinglot and walk instead.
