Walk along the sea on a wide cement boardwalk. Sea with ships on one side and many restaurants, cafes, bars on the other. Lots of people. Jovial atmosphere.

A great place to enjoy yourself.It has many restaurants, cafés,one museum and also tsipouradika which are named after tsipouro,the traditional spirit of Volos.It is some kind of alcohol drink that you can combine with seafood teasers.

nice place old fashioned and retro having nice food and ouzo to special places it is reccommended to visit palaia having a snack or a drink

A very nice area with great history, nowadays it is the 'nest' of advanced level tsipouradika (meaning that they are better that the tsipouradika at the port), bars and taverns.

It is ver y easy to get to palea, leaving the port you walk to tour left by the sea about 15 minutes and you will find it
