The view is stunting but that's all. This is not a good beach to visit especially considering the long drive. The sea is full of rocks which make it difficult to swim and enjoy the beach. During a windy day the sea is full of waves.
Two sun beds and one umbrella will cost you 7€ which is the standard price for Skopelos.

A wonderful beach easily accessed from the free car park which also now has a cafe-bar. Sunbed hire is also available at 7 Euros but we used our towels. The beach is very interesting as it has rocks ay each end and also leads on to other small beaches via a footpath.

Majestic view. Cosy canteen-cafe on the top with wooden benched.
When descending the small hill towards the beach we enjoyed the view. Nice sea colour, rocks e.t.c.
Natural shade after 13:00 every day.
We found a nice place on the beach and dived into the sea.

...then noticed the moist rocks and swarm of wasps all over near every rock shade.

I guess that renting an umbrella might be better.

We just left.

This is a nice, somewhat isolated beach on the northern side of the island of Skopelos and on the opposite side from the village of Glossa. The orientation is toward the island of Alonnisos.

To get to this beach you need to drive a rural road out of Glossa following signs for the beach, Agrio Gourounia (wild pig) (an area of water). You eventually end up small parking lot overlooking a cliff downwards over the beach.

This is not a handicapped accessible area. You have to walk down from the parking area over narrow pathways laden with stones, dirt and uneven surfaces that could be difficult for some to traverse. The payoff is at the bottom: one of the few sandy beaches on Skopelos.

This beach is in the north of the island and is only accessible by car. Just keep following the signs, even when you think you must have gone too far by now! There is a car park at the top of the cliff with plenty of spaces and then quite a step walk down to the stone and shingle beach.
We visited at the end of July so it wasn't quite as secluded as I can imagine it is out of high season. There was a lady there selling drinks out of a cool box and renting out a few sun beds.
We went to the far end of the bay and went snorkling out around the rocks. There were lots of fish and some amazing scenes among the rocks, sand and schools of fish.
The rocks near the shore get slippery so be careful, especially if you have children with you.
This is not a bucket and spade type beach, but if you want somewhere relatively quiet with great views and clear blue water then this is a great place to visit.

Secluded stoney beach, really beautiful on a calm day. Not quiet safe enough to swim on a rougher day, strong under current. Breath taking views whatever the weather.

Buy yourself a decent map, hire a jeep and find this gem in the far NE corner of Skopelos, best in the morning through to mid-afternoon as the mountains behind cast a shadow late in the day. If you want tavernas, sunbeds and lots of other people - go elsewhere, but we loved the quiet and solitude with crystal clear water and great snorkeling. About half a dozen people came and went during the four hours we spent there, seemingly like-minded folk enjoying the peace.

This is the kind of secluded beach you see sometimes on posters. So it is worth taking the winding road from Glossa. It has the minimal ammenities: bar, toilets, sun beds and umbrellas (no showers).

If you like quiet unspoilt beaches, off the beaten track, with no facilities, then this beach is a must. Well worth the drive to the top NE corner of the island, you won't be disappointed. Beautiful clear water, hardly any people. Bliss.

Pick up the new mountain road at Karia and motor alone along the top of the island, stopping to see the goats and the view of Skiathos before heading for Glossa and then taking the turning right just after the turning for the Mama Mia church before you enter Glossa. Stop at the deserted monastry of Taxi something and look in the cavern to the right of the building at the Ossuary- spooky. Perivoli is a north east facing beach so loses the sun mid afternoon. There are no facilities, so take a picnic and drinks. We were the only ones there, so stripped of and swam in the nuddy; smashing. Well worth the journey if you want to really get away from it all.
