My favourite beach on Skopelos. The water is crystal clear and almost emerald green. The first sun beds on the beach belong to an amazing taverna set behind. They are free as long as you eat in the taverna. They do have a sign on the beds saying minimum spend 40 euros but this is never checked. However the taverna is fabulous and we had some of the best food of our stay there. All the usual choices but each elovated to a brilliant standard. The beach is pebbles and course sand. There is another big beach bar further up which we never went to. Parking seemed fine but did fill up quite quickly.

Amazing tranquil beach easily accessible by a public bus (with 1 km walking), Quiet and relaxing, pine-fringed sandy beach with clear and calm sea. Although the beach is sandy, access into the sea is via big blocks of concrete or stone which can be a bit slippery due to the natural sediments. Not far away from the “edge”of the beach the sea is deep enough for good swimming in the calm water. You can also watch and play with some fishes, so bring the snorkeling kit. Ideal beach for families with kids. No shade during the day, just in the evening. If you do not want to grill yourself all day on the sun beds with umbrellas available. The two taverns behind the beach manage the chairs and bring the drinks/snacks to you. The cove is favorite with boats and sails.

Lovely beach, one of our favourites on Skopelos. Sandy beach with a pebbled approach to water and a concrete/rock shelf which can be slippery. We were fine in our beach shoes. Clear water and lots to see. Parking gets busy so get down early. Tavernas serve great food and staff are really friendly. Only down sode for us is the beach bar at the fair end plays music all day long and gets louder as the day goes on. After awhile it gets very very annoying. Such a shame as it would be the perfect beach if it wasnt for that

Not a nice beach.. Waves, a stone shelf that slippery when you walk in, waters aren't too clear. Also the road is very narrow to reach it, lots of blocks and arguing among drivers who needs to back alll the way up

Fantastic location. Beautiful bay and beach. Excellent service provided by Vangelis Lemonis and his family at their restaurant and mini studios. Nice and cosy mini studios. Absolutely delicious cuisine. Perfect wine and tsipuro. Bench mark ambience. Thanks to Janis, Areti, Jorgo, Vangelis and his wife we spent an unbelievable vacation. THANK YOU GUYS! This was my best vacation ever.

Gorgeous bay for swimming.
Crystal clear waters. I enjoyed watching a pair of seabirds fish early in the morning.

Having visited other beaches on our holiday this is THE BEST beach with full, clean facilities and very friendly, helpful staff. We used the sun beds on the decking area close to the bar/ Restaurant and saltwater pool and shower & toilets. Giannis was superb and helped us find beds, get drinks food etc. The sea is beautiful, beach mainly stony but with a little sand too. Very beautiful setting. Perfect for us! Highly recommend a visit. But it does get busy peak season so be prepared for a lot of people - but this is the same on most accessible beaches here in August.

A nice little cove about 20 minutes drive from Skopelos town with a nice taverna serving decent food. Well done Vangelis.

Found on the internet and, guess what, the photos did not lie. What an wonderful place if you like quietness (we went in September). Athena and Vangellis provide a service that I thought had disappeared. The Studios are less than 100ft from the beach in a grove of olives and figs. There are hammocks if you don't want the sand. Our studio was quite big with a good size bedroom, a kitchen with tables and chairs and a large bathroom with a proper shower and curtain (didn't get that in Greece 12 years ago!) A patio area with canvas director chairs, NO PLASTIC, was sheltered from visitors to the beach and taverna so you were fairly private. There is other accommodation as well to suit all pockets. The food in the taverna was EXCELLENT. Vangellis prefers to offer fresh food whenever possible and the cook produced lovely moussakas ,'little fishes' and Kalamari of all shapes and sizes. Great swimming on a small but clean beach with good sunbeds and umbrellas even though we were probably the last visitors. Didn't try the other taverna as we are not 'pool' people. We are on the plus side of 60 (and a bit more) and like quietness which is why we chose September. We are going back in June next year. What better recommendation is there. Not good with photos but if you look at several websites you will get a good idea. By the way I'm sure the road down to the bay was the one in Mamma Mia where Donna drives her friends after meeting them. Anyone confirm this?
