This is what a Greek beach side Taverna should be all about with simple rustic furniture, great simple food and terrific views across the bay towards the azure Aegean Sea. A memorable place to just sit and contemplate the world.

As previous reviewers have already said this is a good beach for relaxing and enjoying crystal clear seas whether swimming or snorkeling, overall it's a place to relax chill and soak up the sun. Good Taverna as well.

Very nice beach with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to pay for.(8 euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella.) Very tasty taverna with picturesque views of the Aegean. All in all a very good beach which is easily accessible by car, by foot and bus.

This beach is a nice quiet retreat if that's what you want, the toilets are not so good though just a hole in the floor, however the one beach bar there was very nice. It took just under 20 mins to walk there through the forest and quite steep at times

The short off road way to reach the beach is enough to separate Mandraki from the commercial beaches of the west coast. The beach is really beautyful, equipped with enough sunbeds to host the visitors and with a bar to serve cold drinks and easy food. The perfect combination of comfort and nature make this beach suitable for everyone.

This was the best beach we have been to during our stay in Skiathos. It is really huge and located in a harbour. Edges of this harbour are very picturesque and the cliff on the beach makes it even more attractive. It is not very deep so the water is warm and good for children. You need to take a... More

Walked through the pine forest on a perfect May morning and discovered this perfect cove, only a few people around at that time of year, beautiful place

Never crowded. Just a few parasols and sunbeds at one end however we much prefer the other end which is filled with driftwood shelters made by various visitors some of which were surprisingly complex! Nice little unobtrusive taverna selling drinks and food but fortunately no intusive music.

Getting to the beach: From the bus station no. 23 take it in right, after 200 meters enter the pine forest. The beach is reached after a 20-minutes travel on foot through a beautiful pine forest. The road is sandy and difficult, but worth the effort. I was impressed by the tranquility of the beach. I think that is the... More

This is a great quiet beach , never crowded and with a good taverna that doesn't blast out music. On a windy day waves are great but prepare to be buffetted! Some trek along dirt / sand roads but stunning views along the way. Great for sunsets looking towards mainland Greece.
