very organized beach bar and lovely service from the guys ! very comfortable sunbeds and plenty of space for the kids to play! you can have food at the sunbeds as well!

This was our first visit of this beautiful island, and there is a lot to see, so we tried to see as much as possible in these 10 days. But, Vromolimnos was the only beach which we have visited more than once - we decided to spend 3 days here, and we enjoyed every minute spent here. In the end of September it is not overcrowded, so everybody can have enough space for themselves. There is a big pine tree in the central part of the beach, so you can spent entire day on the beach.…

The beach is accessable by a road from bus stop 14, or by a path from the top of the headland. This path which I used from the Villa Christina begins as an unmade road but becomes narrow and difficult with tree roots nearer the beach. The beach is fine sand and is clean and well kept and the sea is clear. In late September the beach wasn't crowded and most of the sunloungers (reserved for the beachside hotel) were empty. After a lot of arguing I was allowed a single lounger for 5 euros - I expect this was only because it was late season.…

I'm not a "beach lover", but found Vromolimnos very good. It's accessible on foot from the main road, so you don't need a car (only a short bit of a steep walk). The taverna at the back of the beach is very good indeed; good menu, good service, plenty of it, and good shade. We went there 3 times There is a toilet available, and loungers / shade on the beach (extra charge). There's a shop behind the taverna for clothes etc.…
