This is the o ly beach in the island with sand. Its a child's paradise and that's why it's full of families. The waters are very shallow which makes it perfect for children to play.

Sandy beach. Nice colors. Lots of kids and families there. Set if sunbeds cost 6 EUR. There is a excellent taverna there for lunch.

Great beach always popular with great swimming shallow waters for a good way out with the only sandy beach on the island. Gets rather busy and lively with families.

This is the only sandy beach of the island, suitable for little kids since it is warm and not at all deep. Not suitable on windy days except for playing with the waves. There is charge of 6 euros for the umbrella and the sunbeds....More

This is a gorgeous, natural, sandy beach (which is rare around here). The sea is clear and accessible and it’s pretty easy to get from the car park to the beach. But the introduction of Sun Loungers along the whole beach with barely inches between...More

Think it’s the only sandy beach. The water is flat for a few hundred meters so you can walk or just sit in the water and relax. There is also a restaurant to have lunch or dinner. Food was excellent Try the fisherman’s pasta

Lovely beach, very peaceful with beautiful clear blues seas. We visited twice during our four day stay because we enjoyed it so much. Peaceful and tranquil - the reason why I come to Greece.

Beautiful beach, different to the others in alonissos as it's sand and very shallow water for a long way out. Not much shade, but there are umbrellas to rent.

Yes there are taxis but the local bus from the harbour is much cheaper and more fun. You do have to be mindful of the bus times though and make sure you get the last one back to the harbour!
