For us absolutely the most beautiful beach of Alonissos!!! Sunbeds with umbrellas at 15 euros for the whole day, if you arrive by 11 am you will always find the first row!!! the boys of the beach bar are of a unique kindness and always smiling! you order something and you arrive at the beach, with your feet in the water! simple things... sandwiches, toast but a little light break from the binge of Greek food for us there was! a dream! my girls had tears in their eyes at the start knowing they could not return to play here!

One of the most beautiful beaches in terms of natural beauty! It is a short walk from the parking lot to the beach. The beach bar indifferent but useful (it is true that the owner is not very kind but we only had to speak to him at the time of payment so it did not affect us)

Very beautiful and special beach due to the colors of the rocks that surround it. Half the beach has sand and the other half is thick pebbles. The waters are clear as everywhere on the island. On the beach there is also a canteen with good prices and helpful staff.

We went to Kokinokastro at the beginning of September and it was awsome. Very few people, maybe 1-2 boats, which were not enough to disturb our view of the sea, and crystal waters! The beach is organised but not in an aggravating way. The best beach of Alonissos in my opinion, along with Agios Dimitrios and Mikros Mourtias!

We visited last year, back again today, wonderful friendly staff, great sun beds, food and drinks are available. This beach is getting better and better!
To be helpful make sure you bring beach shoes as rocky beach and be prepared to walk from the local bus drop off down stairs to the beach. Good luck to the team who are developing this 🏝️ beach. Love the ducks! 🦆

Small beach mostly covered by small pebbles. The red hills surrounding this beach (red due to the colour of the ground in this area) make this a beach different than all the others. The red hills look nice in pictures. The waters aren't too bad either ;)

When my partner and I visited in early October the beach was unorganised and beautifully wild. It is an organised beach with umbrellas and little beach hut selling refreshments during the season. We prefer it empty, wild and unorganised.
It is glorious and easy to reach. We walked from Votsi village for about an hour through beautiful roads and forests.
The water is gorgeous and clear. It is not a windy beach as it has got a little island right in front of it.
Highly recommended.

A very beautiful beach in a bay that was created after the collapse of an ancient village. If you notice closely you'll see the remains of a stone wall. Archaeologists discovered that the bay was created more than 5000 years ago after an earthquake or some other phenomenon that made part of the land to sink. Nowadays it is a very beautiful bay, protected from the wind. There is a beach bar with sunbeds and umbrellas on the one side, while on the other you can go with your own umbrella. Appropriate for couples and families.

The best beach on the island, stunning scenery, turquoise waters, organized with few sunbeds. The minus many stones. Enjoy !!
