Traveled up to the monastery to light a candle, they say that the Virgin Mary here is a miracle worker & healer, so many people go to say there prays & make request for help, lovely view of the port .

Away from the crowd and on a hill overlooking the sea, this monastery stands quietly in a charming way.

The visit here was interesting and given free entrance worth going to . However the area open to the public is limited . It is a ' working ' monastery which is nice and the church was typical greek orthodox .

It's If you have just one monastery to visit in Poros, that's the one. Keep in mind the visiting hours and remember to dress correctly (both men and women) no shorts and sleeveless shirts.
