What a great afternoon we spent here. The antiquities so beautifully displayed, such a breathtaking collection. Seeing the Mother and Daughter Snake Goddesses will never be forgotten. Don’t miss this museum!

Little treasure on the seafront of Poros town. Small but beautiful with ancient grave goods, jewellery, figurines and Mycean gold and so much more. I really loved the barnacled ceramics rescued from a ship wreck. Perfect place to escape the hub bub of Poros town.

If you visit the sanctuary of Poseidon or Troizen, then go to the museum to view the artifacts found there. The display s could be improved a lot

The Archaeological Museum of Poros is housed, after a donation by his heirs, in the reconstructed old house of the occupying prime minister, Alexandros Korizis, in the homonymous square of the town. The collection is spread over two floors and includes many exhibits from the entire Troizinia area, as well as finds from the Hermione excavations.

A little gem on the island of Poros. The museum has 2 levels. In the first, the statues are exhibited, and in the second, various small objects of Greco-Roman and Christian antiquity.

Nice museum, but it did not have an elevator for the upper floor so that visitors with mobility difficulties could go up.
