Cultural Tours

In-depth cultural tour over Montenegro, Albania and Greece mainland.

This off-season tour is focused on people who would like to get to know deeply the history of Greece and walk that ancient historical places where are roots of culture of our civilization. Around the world such places are on the list of UNESCO. And many other places now expecting to be on UNESCO list; such places are prepared, available for public for fraction of cost, and are on so called UNESCO tentative list. <br>During this tour we going to visit most of UNESCO places and UNESCO tentative list places, located in Greece mainland. Greece is so rich with history that visit all UNESCO places in one tour will take very long time. Because of that we, Monterrasol Travel, created this tour to be able to visit the most of UNESCO places in one tour.

Achaia Clauss Winery, nice wines, especially the Mavrodaphne which is both a black wine grape indigenous to area, and the sweet, fortified wine first produced from it by Gustav Clauss in around 1850. Patras, Peloponnese, Greece #AchaiaClaussWinery #Mavrodaphne #Patras

We toured the winery on the 18th on the 3:30 tour. They have timed tours and there was on at 2:30 and others earlier but I don’t remember when. Our tour guide was lovely. She did a very nice job of giving a tour and assuring that the English speaking members of the tour

Clauss Winery is an interesting place to visit ; the grounds and buildings are well maintained and photogenic. The cellars have a huge collection of massive, beautifully decorated barrels - I was baffled and puzzled to learn that they contain well over 3,000 ltrs and will never
