The statue is the prize exhibit at the Archaeological Museum in Olympia. It portrays Hermes with the infant Dionysos by Praxiteles, one of the great sculptors of his time. Beautiful to see, do go!

Great Museum, entrance included on your tickets to Olympia. Some fantastic carvings, statues and finds from the Olympia site. Nice and cool too!

Pretty standard museum after seeing a few around Greece but you walk into the room with Hermes and it is just magic!
