About
An unforgettable excursion to the family winery Olympia Land Estate which is into the green valley of Olympia and just 5 minutes from the archaeological site. The particular terroir of the region, the excellent microclimate, the clayey and sandy soil help our vines to grow healthy and very aromatic grapes in order to produce high quality wines. In the Olympia Land Estate you have the opportunity to be part in a tour which start with a walk on the vineyards where you learn about the cultivation of the vines, continue in the production area and finally in the cellar with the oak barrels. After the tour you will enjoy samples of our wines, our homemade olive oil and also other traditional snacks in the air-conditioned reception area. We are on your disposal to help you to organize quickly and easily your excursion which will be for you a memorable experience.

Great Visit but Interesting Ending
Oct 2019
We visited the winery in October 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed the entire event. The wine was amazing...so we ordered 6 bottles to be shipped via their distributor to our home in the US. In previous trips to Europe we have ordered wine many times but this purchase threw us. The wine arrived and a week later we got an additional bill from UPS for USDA clearance, Customs, Processing and Storage Fee. We paid a UPS shipping fee when the wine was ordered and yes there was a disclosure that the winery was not responsible for additional costs. After talking to UPS we found out that Greece is not one of the EU favored commerce participants. Bottom line if you ship wine to the US the per bottle price at your doorstep will be $68.46

Great Family Vineyard
Oct 2019
When many people think “wine,” Greece is not among the places they consider for fine wines or even up-and-coming vino. Olympia GI Winery, a family winery located in historic Olympia, makes one reconsider whether the next hot wine locale will be Greece. The vineyard started as a hobby, now turned into a business, according to our guide, part of the family. The vineyard also has a bustling olive oil business (and it is excellent). Wines are reasonably priced, and they have whites, reds, and a rose (made with Syrah). The tasting room and outdoor area are nice places to enjoy a glass of your favorite and a snack plate (which pairs well with the selections here). We enjoyed the red (called Phideas, which combines Agiorgitiko and Merlot) and wish we’d have taken home a few more bottles. A bonus: some very sweet puppies to play with as well).

We had a wonderful experience visiting the winery and listening to the details about the family history. The property is beautiful and the wine and olive oil is very good. We are happy we decided to take this excursion.

The family that owns the place originaly sold rasins
but the newest generations decided to switch to wine. They have a couple of greek varieties along with some clasical international ones. They produce a wine wich is made from mixing them too. Friendly owners and very tasty wine.

Had a wonderful tour and tasting (including some great appetisers). Beautiful property and surroundings, great and informative host that spoke perfect English. Loved the wines and products offered here. Could not recommend a visit to this winery enough - hopefully they can ship to Australia!

A tour of this winery was part of a cruise excursion - so I didn't have too high an expectation - but I was so impressed! The entire family works at the winery and served us a delicious assortment of tapas and wines! The location is lovely and the wines were very nice.

Fantastic and delicious!
Oct 2018 • Family
Came as part of a Norwegian Cruise tour and brought our 9 and 14 year old kids. Sat for a tasting of 4 different wines and a liquor, and it was all delicious! We each received a plate of assorted hors d'oeuvres and the kids were offered orange juice/soda instead of wine. If your kids are well-behaved and don't mind sampling local foods, this place is amazing. (If your kids can't sit still through a 10-minute presentation or an hour-long tasting, I would skip this.) Amazing place, gorgeous views, fantastic family owned and operated business.

Wine tasting, good food at Family Vineyard and Olive Oil Farm
Oct 2018 • Friends
We hired TaxiKatakolo Tours to Ancient Olympia to take us from the cruise port to the Kremasti Monastery, Klio's Honey Farm and here to this Winery for a tour and wine tasting. This is the second time we have been here (last time 6 months ago with different friends so not only did we want to come back but we wanted to share this with these friends).
We were impressed with the family atmosphere and enjoyed seeing the vineyard, the storage areas, the casks, the bottling room and seeing olive trees close up. Everyone was lovely and very proud of the family heritage of wine and olive oil production.
The wine tasting comes with a delicious plate of their own locally produced cheese, olives, tomatoes, meat, and two different toppings to the tasty bread (my favorite was the one with feta cheese which had a little spice in it to make it delicious) - a perfect touch! We tried two whites, 2 reds, a rose, grappa and a dessert wine (which was very special since they only bottle a small amount).
We bought some wine and a bottle of olive oil to take back with us.
