We watched a short pottery-making demonstration here and then shopped the store for awhile. The store is chock-full of incredible items to purchase and the prices are fairly reasonable. The salespeople are also very upfront about what items are hand-made and which items are just copies for those who want a cheap souvenir.

The store features incredible pottery, jewelry, chess boards and much, much more. My wife and I ended up spending way too much money here but we came away with some high quality pieces that will last a lifetime.

By saying greek heritage I don't mean only the vases, the marbles and the statues, but I mean the warm hospitality that you can find from the people that they keep the greek spirit alive in this amazing art gallery...!!! From the moment that you getting in you feel the energy and the effort from the people that they want to share their knowledge for the greek wealth with you and they impart enthusiasm because they love what they do...!!! The Most friendly and pleasant people ever..!!
Huge gallery of marbles, statues, ceramic, icons, mosaics, frescoes, silver and gold jewelries ..and with very good prices.
Most important of all is that the people are really welcome you and they are willing to explain the history of each marble / ceramic vase /icon..etc.. so you can understand the true meaning of all these exhibits..
They love what they do..and you can see it...!!!!

Congratulations ... !!!!!

After a busy day touring the sites of ancient Corinth and ancient Mycenae, with a group from our cruise ship, which was moored in the port of Napifilon, our tour guide informed us that we would be making a short stop at the Agora Art Gallery. This revelation really did not excite the majority of the tour group. Most of the people just wanted to get back to the ship for a rest.
Obviously there is an arrangement between the tour companies and the art gallery, involving commissions based on the merchandise sold to the members of tour groups.
In due course the bus pulled into the car-park of the art gallery and we were ushered into what was really a huge shop rather than an art gallery. After a short welcome from the proprietor, we were invited to inspect the exhibits, statues, pottery and merchandise on display.
There was certainly an amazing array of huge statues, Greek pottery and assorted merchandise aimed directly at tourists, available for purchase. None of it appealed to me at all and so I made a quick exit and headed to the adjoining café, for a drink.
If you have an interest in purchasing expensive Greek statues, sculptures or pottery, then this may be the place for you. If such items are not of interest to you and you have been forced to make a compulsory stop here, just head straight to the café and give the art gallery (shop) a miss!

This establishment is just outside the city of Nafplio.
The collection of merchandise is impressive and varied and includes reproductions of Greek artifacts, Iconography and jewelry.
The staff is courteous and helpful.

We spotted this gallery by chance whilst driving from Nafplio to Korinthos after a Historic Car Rally. Their reproductions of classic Greek, Minoan and Cycladic statues are absolutely superb and at prices to suit most pockets. We bought a magnificent statue in alabaster and then had the problem of squeezing it into our fully loaded and very small old sports car. The sales lady was very knowledgeable and also most helpful - and she spoke very good English, which helped me. I hope to buy another statue but I will have it shipped this time.

The Agora art gallery is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and looking for mid-range Greek themed souvenirs. The staff is friendly and speaks English.

A nice place to visit and choose a souvenir, we all know that there is an arrangement among tour agencies and places as such, but why not? A warm welcome, nice people and a wide variety to choose from, some I could compare the prices at places I visited before, I chose and asked for a better price, and that was given, so, why not?

I've visited twice with school groups from New Zealand and in between ordered a vase to be delivered. Not only have the wonderful owners and staff been so brilliant, the replica vases exquisite, they have also demonstrated vase and sculpture making and offered a special raffle draw for our group. I have a Greek meander bracelet made out of silver I have worn every day for 2 1/2 years and it is still stunning and reminds me of my time there and my students! Wish we had time to do their clay statue classes with the students. I can't recommend them enough! Go, you won't regret it!

My friend and I were recently in Greece and quite by chance happened across this lovely gallery! What a remarkable selection of handmade museum copies. Exquisite pieces! They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel very welcome and we loved their items so much that we went back the next day and bought more items! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in or traveling in Greece that want to purchase their own piece of Greek history. The selection is fantastic! Go there....you won't be disappointed!
