One of the most enjoyable vineyard experiences I have had - we paid €10 pp for a superb tasting of reds, whites, and rosé. Really opened our eyes to the variety and quality of wine from nearby the Nemea region. We left with a small case of 6 or so wines, all to be drunk in our last night in Greece! Not to be missed.

It is relatively small winery well hidden from accidental visitors. The variety of wines is not huge but....my... what an exceptional quality!!!
Very talented winemaker Michalis won allot of international awards with his wines and very rightly so. Well balanced, cleverly blended, exquisite aromas and tastes. Really, not one word of criticism comes to my mind when I think about his wines.
And one more additional, and very important for me personally, point! All wines are organic.
Being myself a chef who cooks only with organic produce, Giannikos wines are an obvious choice for me to serve with dinners at my school.

A warm welcome is to be had at Giannikos Winery......following a tour of the vineyard we were guided to the stunning cellar for a tasting session..it did not disappoint!! The flavorful organic wines were impressive, as were our wonderful hosts and the charming surroundings. Make sure you leave with several bottles for your personal collection. Highly recommended!!!

After a walk in the organic vineyard where we was introduced in the modern wine making process we went on to the cozy and very beautiful tasting room in the wine cellar. There we had the chance to taste several wines from indigenous and international grapes.
Each one unique in taste and all of very high quality!
I recommend to every wine lover to visit this winery.

EXCELLENT wine adventure!! We were researching wineries close to Corinth, prior to coming to Greece, and discovered Giannikos Winery.

Booking a tour/ tasting was streamlined. Dominik Brun (Sales/ Marketing Director) responded immediately to emails and Michael Giannikos (Owner) accommodated our travel schedule despite being in the middle of harvesting season. Do set it up in advance to ensure that someone will be available for your visit.

Finding the winery was pretty straightforward. Dominik had given us directions ahead of time, the address is in GPS and a posted sign marks the small road leading up to it.

The tour/ tasting was so much fun!! Michael is friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable :) He had some fun stories to share and his own path to becoming a winemaker was interesting to learn.

The wine is DELICIOUS! We bought extra for the next leg of our trip and for friends and family in the States.

Don’t miss a chance to visit Giannikos Winery and have soooo much fun!!!

Our group of 12 arrived near the end of the harvest and we were welcomed by Michalis and Dominik who treated us to an early evening tour of the vines, explaination of the process and tasting of the product. The location is easily accessible, a short distance between modern and ancient Corinth. The tasting cellar is intimate and lovely. We experienced different wines of high quality, all produced from single variety, organically cultivated grapes. We didn't hesitate to stock-up with a couple cases for the rest of our travels through the Peloponnes, and even managed to get an additional case back to Norway. Thank You Michalis and Dominik, it was an un-expected experience. You have given more than you realise - good memories to last a lifetime!

When you are in the area of Korinth you have to visit this sweet and beautiful winery.
The wines are all organic and are a "must have" for wine lovers.
If you book a wine tasting then you can also see his wine cellar.
So take your time for a glass of wine.

If you are interested in winemaking and wines in general, a visit at Giannikos Winery is a must. The family winery welcomes guests warmhearted. We started with a walk in the organic wineyard, where we learned about greek grape varieties and the work in the wineyard. Later, we were told how wine in Greece is produced nowadays. Finally we hat the opportunity to taste the wines and even "wines in progress :) " produced at the winery.
Recommend it.
