We went here in order to reach Notos later, so we were not that disappointed with what we got. Sunbeds cost 5 euros per set (drinks are sold separately, which is strange considering that most of really modern and beautiful beaches on the North of the island do not charge sunbeds per se). It was literally impossible to swim due to the amount of jelly fish, even in the shallow water! Some guys were literally fishing them out so people could go in, it was crazy. So we went to Notos instead, which was a really pleasurable experience. We simply crossed the rock that divides the the beaches, but be VERY careful if you decide to do that as well, as it's slippery. There, they also charge the sunbeds 5 euroes (!), but the water is much better, colder, clearer. There is also a shower available, and a small beach bar that serves drinks on the beach. Take notice that Notos is an extremely small beach, so you need to go early to find a place.

Rosogremos beach is a nice beach that looks just like Notos and is "devided" in half. The first half is in front of a five star hotel. The other half is the rest of the beach full of sunbeds for rent (and cigarette butts in the sand). If you decide to stay there use you own umbrella and order from the hotel. Club sandwich is delicious and costs 9 euro (with chicken, bacon, eggs and more). Don't try the canteens they are expensive and quality is unknown.

We select Rosogremos Beach as destination in the first day of the September forest fire in Thassos. We stayed in Limenaria and we were actually bloked by the fire in the Limenaria-Potos area.
The public TV news about the area in fire were at that time confused, but was certain that the most affected area was Thimonia – Aliki and Kalirachi. So we tried to find a new beach near Limenaria and almost accidentaly we stopped ar Rosogramos Beach.
The beach it is not very spectacular, but is it crowdy due to the existence of the nearby hotel. The sand strip has about 150 m long and 20-25 m wide, with a three sunbeds rows in the central and left side.
We found without problem a parking place and also we get sunbeds (but on that they there were mostly “smokebeds”.
We tried to ignore the very large and dense smoke clouds that were covering the entire area and blocking the sun, creating an unreal yellow light, including underwater (see the pictures). Because we tried to ignore the vegetation fire danger (we were just at the beginning of our twelve days’ vacation in Thassos) we started our snorkeling exploration of the left side of the beach were there is an underwater rocky extension of the land, separating the Rosogramos beach from the Notos beach.
Anyhow, the underwater landscape is not so monotonous like the beach itself. My score appreciation for this snorkeling side is 3 (from 5).

This beach is easily accessible by car. There are several small bars, that also offer snacks and toilet access. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available from 3 different establishments, so be sure to check prices, as they can vary from one supplier to the other. The beach is situated in close proximity to the Royal Paradise Beach Resort & Spa and we had no problem using the showers and toilets in their pool area. Plus, this offers a great alternative for a fabulous lunch with a seaview. The sandy beach and shallow, clear water makes it fit for kids, but there is also the option to explore the rocks on the ends of the beach for those who are more adventurous. You can also find kaiaks and boats that can be rented for a small price.

This is a sandy beach protected from winds. It is not too deep and not to shallow. There aren't many people because it is not easily accessible. Most people drive past the dirt entry-way without noticing. It is just before Limenaria so keep an eye for it. If you want something out of the way without all the commotion of a popular beach, you will like it here.

A nice quiet beach in Thassos located in a small gulf and it is not hard to find. It is a small sandy beach, suitable for families with children but also an interesting place for snorkeling.

Unjustly neglected beach in Thassos reviews. Nice sand, clear sea, for kids shoal, for others very close depth, interesting for diving, cheap cafe, natural shadow. Few years ago on left side of the beach built wonderful resort.

Beautiful beach of fine sand, with warm and clean waters.
Not crowded and with a bar behind it for small snacks.
Umbrella and 2 sunbeds for €7.00.
Parking feasible.
Recommended.
