We had repaired this particular beach 10 years ago.
The big negative that the beach had was the conditions and the cleanliness of the beach.
This year in 2024 when we went the beach didn't change at all.
It has a lot of dirt from the world and it's full of flies that bite and bite. Your only solution is to take a quick bath to save yourself from the flies and leave Aron Aron.
Next for 30-45 minutes bath is not worth the journey by car and walking to reach.
Chios has so many other beautiful beaches to go and enjoy your bath.
The trip advisor has the number 3 beach of Chios, just don't go.

In south Chios there is a beach like a swimming pool! If you reach the beach early in the morning before tenits like a private paradise!

This is one of our favourite beaches. A pefect cove with interesting snorkling.

In summer there is a shortage of shade so bring an umbrella. In the tourist season there is a small taverna (based in a caravan/hut) in the car park and we have always found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced. It is hard to imagine a table with better views than you get here.

In winter we come here and have the beach to ourselves. We build a fire and have a barbeque. There is always plenty of driftwood in winter. PLEASE NOTE open fires are only allowed on the island in winter - the dangers of forest fires is too high in the summer.

This beach is without a doubt a little paradise. We were the only people there at 11 am! We could not have asked for something else! Very clean and with a nice path to walk down to the beach! Visit it otherwise you missed a special part of Chios! Not organized, nothing to drink or eat around!

Our favorite beach in Chios. Hard to reach, southes point of the island. After parking your car, you need to use 200 steps of stairs to reach to the beach. There is no facility in the beach, so you need to carry your seats, drinks, food, towels with you. Sea has no waves (because the wind usually come from northwest) and the water is cold.
Climbing back after all sunbathing and swimming is really annoying though.

Vroulidia beach is known, but not spoiled. The cove is nice and sheltered from the winds of the sea.

This was our favorite bay of the island. Especially when there is notherly winds, it's very well protected and you can spend an entire day there. There is a convenient and reasonably priced small family owned cafeteria, and ample parking atop the beach. The 53 steps to the beach was an easy hike for everyone in out company, including grandparents, so it should not be a problem. The water is crystal clear, with a lot of underwater life, great for snorkelling.
