Olympoi is one of the three mastic villages of Southern Chios. The village maintains its medieval architecture with narrow cobblestone streets that are an absolute pleasure to wonder around and soak up the atmosphere. The houses are connected with each other via a wall that...More

One of the three mastiha villages of Chios and probably the most charming and authentic, with narrow streets, arches, cats and even donkeys. A lot of colors, of flowers and grass plants. And since 2018, very nice paintings in a naive style of people -...More

Olympi still retains its basic defensive design of mesmerising side streets and central tower. beautiful stone built houses and alleyways that draw you into the centre. lovely tavernas in the tower offering fantasic trditional dishes at old fashioned prices.

Very nice place, love to be there🇬🇷 Eating lunch at taverna Amethystos was amazing, with chicken, grilled goat-meat and salads from the owner😊

It's very beautiful town and it's more interesting than Mesta. There is also very good restaurant in the center. Narrow streets which were built against pirates are very attractive.

Along with Vessa this is my favored little medieval little town in the island. Not as majestic, and restored, as the nearby Mesta but jet unspoiled from mass tourism. The village is fortified, with a single original door, built in the 12th century. It has...More

Average as far as caves go, short trip, not as claustrophobic as some others but nice formations. Done in 20 min. Slippery inside so wear good shoes. Can give it a miss if you've seen others like Mammoth in the US.
