We had a big conference in the Thessaloniki Concert Hall. It consists of two modern beautiful buildings situated by the sea right in the heart of Thessaloniki. They look impressive and simple at once. Inside there is a lot of space, various levels and rooms. In my opinion, this is a great modern cultural and conference center.

Designed by the famous architect Isozaki, the building M2 gives the city a unique construction that summarizes the virtues of modern architecture. Geometric lines, large glass surfaces and metal elements compose a picture majestic simplicity, contrasting but equally stands next to neighboring M1. Full of natural light, the foyer of the new building enjoying a splendid view. With the latest equipment and having excellent infrastructure, Room Emilios Riadis can accommodate 500 people and the hall Maurice Saltiel, which fits 300 people, can be divided into three rooms of 100 or two 100 and 200 people respectively, thus providing possibility to carry out a different type of event series. The M2 building has an underground parking 11,800 sq.m. and 230 seats. Consistent with its cultural role, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall is happy with the Music Library housing and Museum of Musical Instruments in its new building.

I was lucky to be there for a short performance. I enjoyed the spacious comfortable seats the acoustics and the helpful patient staff. Remember there 2 halls the main and the M2. You need to arrange your taxi transportation.

I went there to view the famous opera "cats" and it was a great experience! As a building it is great and it reminds me similar attractions I had visit abroad. Well done for the great work!

The venue is impressive and quite suitable for all sorts of big events. The acoustics during the mama mia performance was of high standard too.
The staff is helpful and there is a provisional taxi rank whenever a big event is on. You can also reach it on foot walking along the sea promenade from the White Tower.

The atmosphere is nice and the prices are trying to reflect some kind of better service and good quality. The toilets tho are shocking. You can easily catch diseases in there...

Quite far from the center, but it is a pleasant walk along the promenade. Not really worth to walk just for the building, though.

By the sea, an amazing architecture building almost brand new, we saw an excellent Russian VIP opera, and we had an incredible dinner at the restaurant across the building in the Concert Hall Union.
I would recommend a place to visit.
