Probably it's the best or one of the best wine bars of Greece. Hundreds of wine etiketes, from Greece and aboard. Extremely tasteful hamon from Spain among with Greek specialities! Service is great. Highly recommend!

With a very special wine list and an owner who has deep knowledge and can guide you to find the most suitable choice of wine for you. Giannis will also offer you special finger food like mozzarella cheese , chicken with pasta to accompany your wines without any additional charges. My friends preferred whiskey where there were also descent choices

This is a lovely wine and cocktail bar at the center of Thessaloniki. It is small and cozy with great decoration, which is comprised of old cinema black and white photography against red walls. Music is usually light jazz, blues and rock. The bar specializes in wines and probably has the greatest variety of wines in Thessaloniki. Still the bar offers a wide variety of whiskey, brandy and all the standard drinks. The most important asset of the bar is the owner who is always willing to explain the features and history of each item in the wine list. In addition, the bar offers light cuisine with fine salads and hot platers.

Alea at Issavron street is a small winebar with an impressive wine list; and if you get lost in the wine list that seems to go forever,, the owner is there to help you. With your bottle of wine, a plate of food also arrives, courtesy of the bar. Everything is very tasty, the music is excellent and the volume is low. A unique situation in the city where you do not have to shout to be heard. The only negative comment is, that regardless of the no-smoking sign, some people were smoking - but very few.
