A lovely area with a bitumen surface for all to use in the center. Lots of shops, coffee places and restaurants all around the sides of the square

Nice to walk around. It is always clean, somehow. The statue of Aristotele is there if you want to take a picture of an iconic place.

Aristotelous Square is the place to be or walk through day and night, winter or summer, whether you are after a quick cup of coffee, a pastry, a takeaway sandwich or a long evening drink at one of its numerous, vibrant cafe/bars. A must see, the biggest and busiest square in the city of thessaloniki. Nice to walk, sit and rest and stroll for a walk by the sea. Plenty of places to sit and have a coffee or a meal

It's a nice square in the central of the city. We went to sit on the rooftop of a Electra Palace hotel and enjoyed the sunshine. We didn't like the Jamaican, very pushy guys who tried to sell us bracelets 'for free' (read : give what you want, but at least 2€). They were very pushy. Apart from that, there... More

Aristotelous Square is based exactly in the middle of the city. Everything starts from there - you can have coffee there (prices are regular), walk towards the old city (upwards) or towards the waterfront and the white tower. Don't expect to see many things but just by being there you'll see all kinds of people walking past you, musicians performing... More

Aristotelous Square is great if you want to have a cup of coffee and need a little bit space for the kids to run. Make sure to sit at the cafes near the free space under Mitropoleos street. Try and spot the statue of the ancient philosopher Aristotelis. The square was named after him.
