Beautiful square which is the heart of the city. Our apartment overlooked it and we had everything it had to offer on our doorstep. An array of restaurants and attractions. Views down to the sea front and lovely sunsets to be seen too. Statues embellish the square and it’s history is all around. Vibrant and lively a pleasure to be there at any time of the day

It is easy to see why this large open public square is a popular meeting place for locals. The architecture of the grand buildings and the location on the fantastic Thessaloniki promenade make it a beautiful and accessible location.

We enjoyed experiencing Aristotelous Square as part of our walks on the Thessaloniki promenade and enjoying views of the White Tower, the statue of Alexander the Great, and the Umbrellas all within short distances of each other. The stunning Thermaic Gulf view from Aristotelous Square tops it all off.

The center of Thessalonik for many years. The gathering and meeting point of all ages. A great walk through hotels, cafes, shops and restaurants leads you to the coast. Is always full of people but also be aware of some thiefs and some annoying people around.

One of the best places to visit and have a walk! Great architecture! It ends on the coastal road (Nikis avenue), so you can also see the sunset! Many coffee shops and taverns near by.

It would be very unusual were the visitor not to see this central locus, with its fine avenues and outlook.
It's convenient for many areas too, and the visitor should read on on the general history of the area to make sense of it all.

The square is a great spot to spend an hour or so people watching, enjoying a gelato, shopping, or having dinner outside. The square is apparently used as an open air concert venue.

Aristotelous Square is my favourite street in Thessaloniki. It is in the city centre and is so long for walking. There are much restaurants, coffee shops and hotels. It leads to the sea. The pics are from 05th of July 2014.

Probably the centre of everything in Saloniki , There is no way you are in the city and won't pass in this place which directs you right to the water front.

It all happens here. Cheap cafes, fancy bars, great Greek food, ice creams and shopping. One of the places to be seen (if that ever really matters!)
