I have been coming here for ages and I always come in October time and I never seen the horses or the mule off their leads. I know it is a lot quieter at this time of year but they should at least be taken out for walks and have some quality of life. All the locals tell me that the mule has never been seen off the lead this whole summer. I find this disgusting and refuse to ever ride there. Please think about this before you use this facility as how would you feel about being tied to a small bit of rope for the rest of your life. And they drag their horses around on a rope tied to the car to exercise them and the horses legs were banging against the car.

To be fair I haventridden the horses. But I wouldn't having seen the I'm has never been off of this rope. What sort of life is this. I feel upset everytime I walk down the lane. At times he is very depressed. I feel that people should not use this facility until this improves. He was very agitated today. Would anyone like to spend their life attached to a few of rope.... Thought not

We booked our horse riding through Vicky who was helpful and friendly from the first moment we met. We have three daughters aged 6,11 and 14 and Vicky and the rest of the staff made them feel safe and gave them a great experience. I would highly recommend booking it is great fun for all the family. 😃

We have just returned from another holiday in Alykanas where we again experienced a great welcome from Vicki, Andreas, Dimitri and Pops at Lucky Lukes horses. My grand daughter and I went on the 90 minute horse ride as novice riders, but the horses are selected to suit your standard. Last year I had plodder George, but this year I rode Bamboo, a much younger horse. Andreas and Biku walk the course with you and Andreas constantly talks to keep you relaxed through the the ride. This year saw Vicki walking the course as Andreas now has a power boat for hire. Both Andreas and Dimitri were a great help with the horse and carriages, whether around Alykanas, or on trips to Alykes, and of course, trips to The Lemon Tree and Carissimo for delicious Greek food. Many thanks to you all at Lucky Lukes. See you next year. Johnh

We spoke to the lady on lucky luke stand got our information and booked the following day. We took a short walk to there farm upon arrival I was relieved to see all there animals looked healthy and happy and well cared for. Helmets was provided and they put you on the horse that matched your requirements. As a experienced rider they gave me a lovely horse that needed a experienced rider and gave my son one that follows pack and orders. We both felt safe and confident and we was in safe hands with the owners. This was the best part of my holiday riding in a beautiful place with blue sea which again you walk through with guidance. Great experience and good value for money. Thankyou lucky luke we will be back to do both sea and hill riding.
