Rent a motorboat in Laganas (On the main street it was 100 euro for 4 of us, for 3 hours - worth a try to bargain!) and visit this little island! No licence needed and you can go anywhere with it. We headed right to...More

We went on a boat trip to see the turtles and part of the trip was to visit Turtle Island. All you can do is have a swim and sunbathe but that's about all to be honest! We stayed on the boat people watching!

Family visit. Busted 3 time in our 2 week holiday. Excellent for snorkling and seeing turtles, the views are amazing. Personally I would recommend hiring a moter boat as you can spend more time on the island rather than a tourist boat trip.

I really regretted going here. The beach is too crowded, too many boats coming in and out, it's not even ideal for swimming with all that traffic. The worst part was feeling the beach full of rubbish that people left behind, cigarette ends, empty cans,...More

Very narrow sandy beach as most closed off due to turtles. Water lovely colour and nice and clear. Lots of boats pulling in and out so very busy.nothing there except a boat selling refreshments.

Usually they come with a captain-insurance etc. Not sure on the size and cost but a group of 9 should be ok on a reasonable sized boat
